You get what you pay for. I would compare this to a hostel, which isn’t a bad thing. We saved a lot of money staying here so I am happy with what we got based on what we paid for. Just don’t expect any extras. Having a shared kitchen was really nice and the place was very clean and felt safe. Our biggest complain was that it was VERY hot. The main lobby had AC but that is it. The hallways were extremely hot walking to the room as then the room was uncomfortably hot. They said they had fans but they were out and couldn’t find one for us and then the window only opens the smallest amount. It was hard to sleep. But again, we saved a lot of money and I would still recommend staying if the savings are important. Overall everything else was good.

The property is located well inside the city making it easy to catch any of the public transport available or just walk around. There are great coffee shops in the area for the morning hit of caffine.

The best part of this stay was the staff, they were lovely and the communal kitchen was nice. Unfortunately the good ends there. Our room (and all rooms in the hotel we we’re told by staff) was unbearably hot. We were given an A/C unit which worked no better than a fan and smelled very badly of stale water. The tap in the bathroom was burning hot water and couldn’t be changed, so hot you couldn’t even wash your hands in it and the shower changed temperature at a whim. The only way we found to get cold water in the shower was to flush the toilet. There was an instance where we came back to our door unlocked and open. Nothing was cleaned and there was no reason staff would’ve needed entry. Nothing was stolen but it was a wee bit un-nerving. We also had no garbage can in our room. If we were staying longer than two days I would’ve left and booked a different hotel.

Uncomfortable
The mattress was the most uncomfortable we’ve ever slept on leading to backache. I suspect it was either a very cheap mattress or ready for a skip. Raised this after the first night and they said they would look at it, but I don’t think they even entered the room: it was clean and a good location, but when you book somewhere to stay - a good nights sleep is the important part and unfortunately this completely missed the mark
