"The hotel was a little dated in the rooms themselves, but the rest of the hotel was very nice. The rooms were clean, but we had difficulty finding a trash can anywhere on the property. It is a very convenient location for Edinburgh."

"Apex always seems good value for money. It is in a very convenient, albeit crowded location, but our room was very comfortable and quiet. Very near all you want to see in Edinburgh. There is a tunnel at bottom floor that gives you an easier access to the train station...much better than fighting ..."

"Enjoyed the property especially the pool.enjoyed the nearby restaurants and the fish and chips. Enjoyed the view of the Castle and also Craigmillar Castle nearby. Access to the bus station and train station was an advantage."

"Really enjoyed our stay there. Unfortunately the lift was out of order but the staff were really helpful in bringing our cases up and down the stairs! Staff were friendly. Atmosphere was great.
