The images are misleading. There is no lobby or proper entrance as in the photos. The gym was converted into the reception and breakfast area so no no gym either (the reason I booked this place). Construction has been going on for a year but they haven't updated the booking apps. You only find out after you appear.

I stayed here in march and it was awesome. The common dining entry was open and there was access to the back patio which was very convenient for parking and overall hotel access. The hotel is currently under construction and renovations which has moved the reception and the dining into a smaller shared board room. I chose this hotel because their breakfast was delicious the last time I went. If I had known it was under construction, I would’ve chose another establishment to stay for 2 nights that offered the same accommodations I expected and received in march. I was told my room was newly renovated but was in the same condition as the room I previously stayed in.

The resort has an amazing view. The manager and owner were fantastic. They upgraded our room to the ocean side. Guest laundry Wawa out of order but they offered to let us use the resort laundry facilities. The beds were super comfortable too! I would definitely stay there again!

Staff were very nice. The pillows were terrible at this hotel. My neck was so sore in the morning! The hotel doesnt have front door enterance at the moment due to renovations. The overall experience was good. Nothing exceptional. Good place to stay for a day or two. Not so comfortable for a long stay.

We received an email the night before our arrival to say the hotel is under construction and that the fitness centre was closed the front entrance was closed and they had a makeshift one by the pool that doubled as the breakfast room with 4 tables the email said they prefer you grabbing it and taking it to your room. The breakfast was really good the staff were great just would have been nice to know when it was booked that it was in disarray. There wasn’t much parking by the new front desk door so if you have to park in the back it’s a bit of a walk with luggage to walk around the building. The rooms were great. Lots of space.

Unfortunately we stayed at the hotel while it was under construction for renovations which is why I gave it 2/3 stars. The site did not state it was under construction when I booked the room. The room was very nice, but it was quite the ordeal getting into a room. At the first room there were construction materials around such as a caulking gun and paint supplies outside the door and the key didn't work at first. I then tried to go down the stairs to their temporary front desk, only to find the doors were locked once I was down on ground level because of the construction. I had to run back up to the 3rd floor to use the elevator to go down to the front desk. Once I got the keys to the room and went up the the 4th floor the room door was jammed shut, handle was loose and I could not open the door to get into our room. I went back down and they gave me another room which was very nice and clean. The breakfast was not great, they had only one worker (who looked like she was having a panic attack and completely overwhelmed) filling the food but it went empty for quite awhile. I felt sorry for her and finished putting away the yoghurt in the small fridge that she forgot to put away after being distracted by a customer wanting more coffee. I am sure they tried their best while not under great circumstances with the renovations, however this was my first experience and more than likely my last experience with this hotel.

It was a whole lot of difference between the Staybridge suites that we are used too. We’ve visited the one in Saskatoon more than twice but I don’t know if this is just because of the renovation.. I feel they can still do better with breakfast even if they are renovating. Rooms are ok but a bit more variety with breakfast during this renovation would go a long way. We have booked accommodation for this June too which we wouldn’t want to cancel
