"A great stay for us for a few days while we took in the surrounding city. A small, well appointed room; decor coordinating with the beautiful indigenous motif of the hotel! A comfortable bed and pillows (most importantly). The smaller size of the room fit us well, as travelers taking a layover stop to see the sights! Kakabeka Falls is a MUST as is a city viewing park 'up the hill' (where the big Bell is located); a very popular location with a stunning view of "The Sleeping Giant" and the magnificent landscape in the area. Easy Hotel parking in either the small lot behind or in the larger 'protected' lot across the street from the lobby. Coffee and Orange juice at the continental breakfast was fresh. For a great sit-down breakfast, try the busiest place in town: Tina's Breakfast & Lunch!! The hotel staff was always available and very helpful. We appreciated their attention to our needs. Speak to the front desk about using their washing machine and arranging a time for you; reasonable prices, too! Two excellent Dinner restaurants are a block or two away, heading towards the Casino (Grotto Trattoria, The Prospector). This road was under construction so there was no street lighting when we were there. A most enjoyable stay and a pleasant surprise. Highly recommended!"

"Very fun a scenic property - right on the water. We could hear the waves in our room at night! Whole family had a great time in this well-adorned and nicely furnished cabin. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a cozy retreat on Lake Superior."

"Bare bones CLEAN room at great location and price. Very close to lots of great restaurants, bars, shops and the harbor. Even a casino just down the block. Bring your streaming service (Netflix, prime etc) credentials. Nice TV but no basic channels provided that I found. Overnight Parking is about a square block away but very cheap (5.25 for 24 hours). Street parking right outside the entrance is free for the first 2 hours. So very helpful. I was worried about the street noise when I arrived. Every once and awhile you heard a group walk by having fun during the dinner / happy hour rush. But it quieted down by 9-10 and I was never woken in the middle of the night."
