We found the house to be very unclean when we arrived. We found some toenail clippings and some old food bits scattered amongst the floor. "By far one of the coolest places to stay for anyone who loves old mansions and history! Hosts were super accommodating with clear instructions! Absolutely loved the period decor to match the theme. Felt like we stepped back in time for a brief moment and definitely left fun, lasting memories! Easy parking. There are stairs involved to access upper levels. Anyone with skeletal issues - arthritis might want to stick with lower levels. Otherwise, absolutely wonderful! Thank you "

"What a unique place to stay when you're in the "Old South". We had a few good restaurants within walking distance but couldn't go anywhere but the Italian place three minutes up the street."

"First, the owner did not communicate the apartment number of the residence. We had to wait on the street while waiting for a reply. Then, when we went in the residence, the furniture was full of stains, a bed had plastic wrap around the box spring which indicates bed bugs, dirty wash rags and dishes in the sink, hairs on the bed, and list goes on. We left. Ate the cost of the stay and went directly to a hotel."

Rude, unprofessional, unorganized, poor communication, etc. 1.The address on VRBO does not match the address of the actual location 2.There are several units that are rented out & little to no clarification on who was to be in what unit. Based on my conversation with our neighbors with whom we ended up mixing up units with, the more expensive unit was in worse condition. They also stated they had never experienced...
