"The cottage is a bit tired but well equiped, clean and comfortable. The instructions to find the key were terrible! it says get them from a key safe padlocked to the front railings at the front of the house and they were at the back, attached to the house. Google maps cannot find the address so we followed the instructions given. It mentions a car show room that it is not there anymore (a convenient Tesco instead). White Hart, Exeter by Marston's Inns

10/10 Excellent

"Great hotel and staff all round brilliant"

Hotel Du Vin Exeter

10/10 Excellent

"Excellent hotel, the staff were all absolutely brilliant! Wonderful local recommendations (and cocktails!) from the bar staff, dinner in the restaurant was incredible - the oysters were fabulous! Breakfast and the staff were wonderful and so attentive! Enjoyed a swim in the outdoor pool on a sunny October day, well worth a visit!"

The Barnstaple Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"We received a warm and friendly welcome on arrival. The shower was amazing and after walking a big section of the SWCP it was very welcomed. Sadly we ran out of puff to enjoy the pool (indoor and outside). The ability to park and leave vehicles there was an added benefit. The bar menu offered great choices, and the breakfast was a pleasant treat. I would deffo recommend and be more than happy to return next time I am in the area."

Mercure Exeter Southgate Hotel

8/10 Good

"I had great overnight stay for a work trip. My room was spacious and had a nice bathroom. Modern on/off button shower was good. The tv reception was not great (BBC1 didn't work), the carpet a little worn and the shower leaked to the bathroom floor but these were minor details and didn't really impact my overall view. I slept well, the staff were friendly and the best thing was the breakfast. Recommended for an overnight stay."
