I stayed 3 nights (thurs till sunday) and left with a great impression of the hotel and its beauty and even better impression of the service. Rooms/grounds- to my surprise upon checking in we were shown to a 3 bedroom unit overlooking the water despite booking just a basic room and paying what i thought was very regular/standard prices for a hotel like the Gansevoort. My mom and I absolutely loved it!!! I saw some mixed reviews about the property but rest assured it was stupendous!!! The food was delicious- you never repeated the same course for dinner and rarely for lunch. I will definitely be staying there again when we return!

The room was an apartment. Had everything you need. Supermarket two blocks away.

Expedia ranked this a 3 but I give it a 5. The hotel is a little old but we'll maintained. You can walk to the heart of town, Sosua beach and excellent restaurants close by. No need to rent a car or call a cab. It is on a dead end street so you here no moto conchos or other laud noise passing by like in most of the other hotels. I had an amazing stay, It’s perfectly located near all the fun activities, near the bars and the beach making it so convenient. The staff was incredibly helpful, and I felt safe and well taken care of throughout my stay. So I booked an extra night 😁

I have been staying at this property for about 3-4 years now. I book my vacations around this property being available. That’s how nice and excellent this property is. Randy and his family have been awesome with any request and/ responding to messages. They are always available to contact. The staff are also awesome and attentive. Reception was unaware I prepaid with Expedia. This can be very unsettling when travel in a foreign country, especially when you don’t speak the language.

It's always a pleasure staying with Randy. He helps with anything you need while there and the apartment was better than advertised. Highly recommend!

The only bad thing was, there is a private residence right next door. They were VERY loud at night, with loud music and singing. Depending on which side of the building your rental is you will hear it. I stayed at this property before a different side of the building and I didn’t hear them.
