"The only bad thing was, there is a private residence right next door. They were VERY loud at night, with loud music and singing. "My stay was AMAZING! It was so nice that I extended my stay. Ricardo from the front desk checked us in. He was very kind and helpful. I will definitely come back and stay in the same place. The staff was professional, respectful, and very helpful. They made sure that you received the best treatment. They all went above and beyond and these are some of the names that I will share. unfortunately, I did not get everyone's name. Special shout out to the staff at the international dining!!! Pedro, William, & Marvin. Sandy, & Jose Manuel from the bar in the Select side by the pool AMAZING. Buffet, bar, drinks, & entertainment was very good. No complaints. See you guys soon!! ❤️🌴🙏"

"El hotel es muy bonito, pero le falta un mejor servicio. La habitación no tenía jabón para lavar las manos, y una silla del balcón estaba quebrada, si uno se sentaba, se rompía. Pedimos que nos corrigieran estas dos deficiencias y, a pesar de comunicarlo dos veces, en más de 4 horas, no lo corrigieron. Una tercera llamada, muy molesta, hizo que finalmente lo corrigieran. El restaurante Aguaji, premiado entre los mejores de América Latina, tiene un menú de degustación muy desequilibrado: contamos con 10 carbohidratos, poca proteína y casi nada de verduras. Esa noche tuvimos problemas estomacales. ¡No lo recomendamos!"

"I made a quick trip with my brother for a 3-night weekend. Hill Top Condos is a great property. It looks very accurate as listed on VRBO. This unit has functional A/C in living room and both bedrooms. Furniture was very clean. Kitchen utensils, cookware were included. I bought one large bag of ice to substitute for an icemaker (and it was perfectly fine). The balcony and view make this unit exceptional. We ate breakfast/lunch/dinner all downstairs at the Waterfront. This food was so so so good. Prices were very reasonable. A pizza cafe is also right at the restaurant. Playa Alicia’s water is some of the clearest I’ve ever been in. Tranquil and beautiful water. Beach chairs and umbrellas were easily rented for the day as soon as I stepped foot on the beach. The property pool was also very relaxing and convenient (but it closes early at 8pm daily). The unit owner (VRBO host, Jerome) and property manager (Alvaro) maintained the most helpful communication at booking, prior to arrival and duration of stay. They made this one often the easiest vacations I’ve ever had. Alvaro spoke English also, which made communication convenient. I’ll definitely be back to this property."

"We had such an amazing stay at Sosúa by the Sea! If you’re looking for a peaceful, family-friendly hotel where you can truly relax, this is the place. The ocean views are absolutely breathtaking, and the atmosphere is so calm. I personally loved that there wasn’t a loud club on the property—it made it easy to unwind and enjoy quality time with my family. I want to give a huge thank you to Randy at the bar. He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always made sure we had everything we needed. His customer service really stood out and made our stay even more enjoyable. Another special thank you to Juan, who went above and beyond by decorating both of our rooms with balloons—one for my son’s birthday and one for my fiancé’s birthday. It was such a thoughtful surprise that made both celebrations feel extra special. The restaurant staff also deserves recognition. They surprised us with a personalized birthday cake, and both the staff and fellow guests sang Happy Birthday. It was such a heartfelt moment that we’ll never forget. The kindness and effort everyone put into making our family feel celebrated meant so much to us. From the beautiful scenery to the outstanding hospitality, our experience exceeded our expectations. We made wonderful memories here and will definitely be back. Thank you to everyone at Sosúa by the Sea for making our trip so special! ❤️"
