"I'll start with the cons as it's the most important for people to realize the sales staff try to sell you a 'membership' (it's not a membership, it's basically a timeshare even though they claim it's not), they are beyond aggressive and wouldn't let us leave after you decline their offer. We were stuck for 5 hours with Monica Sotomeyor, who dragged our teen daughters into the session and wouldn't allow them to leave either. She was asking the same questions over and over again about our 'ideal vacation'. We like to go to different places all the time, and Monica said they have a partnership with all these other hotels and resorts around the world, where we could use the 'point system' to book. Of course, we find out afterwards from other members that it's really hard to book some of these places. The whole thing is a scam, and even Monica jokingly, but not really, said, "We do everything we can to separate people from their money". Do not do the 90+ min session just to get the discount on some of the food and excursions. It's not worth the hassle and they keep you as long as they can until they wear you out. Other cons is we didn't do all-inclusive as we wanted to go to other restaurants and the food there is okay and extremely overpriced ($95/person for a buffet and family of 4 is not worth it). So we had to Uber it to town all the time. Pros: the pools and lazy river were amazing, views were nice, rooms were clean, rest of the staff were kind, just avoid the sales people."

"Villa was beautiful just as described. Miguel was always available and very helpful. Carmen did a fantastic job keeping the villa clean and made incredible breakfast. "

"We spent Spring Break Easter week with our 2 daughters at Villa La Valencia. We did all inclusive and felt everything was perfect. The place is pristine the food was great the staff all knew my name by the end of the week. There was plenty of friends for our daughters to make by the family pool. We paid extra for a few activities at the kids club. All the staff from the kids club said hi to my daughter after while we were around the property and she loved the time spent. The balcony spaces were great to hang when we were in the room watching the beach and waves. The all inclusive had quality options for liquor there are premium alcohol options as an upgrade but the selection was plentiful. The whole week was perfect and we were already being asked when are we going back to Mexico by our daughters "

"El Hotel es absolutamente IMPECABLE Desde que llegas hasta que te despiden. La zona de la piscina de adultos fue el lugar que más me gustó! El bar y la coctelería buenísima! La comida en todos los restaurantes muy rica 10/10 Las pizzas y las hamburguesas deliciosas! La pasta muy rica! Las quesadillas riquísimas y el guacamole súper deli! Aunque me hubiera gustado tener un poco más de variedad en cuanto a comida típica. Casi toda tenía comida de mar y soy alérgica así que fue un poco limitada… iba con mucho antojo de comida Mexicana. Las habitaciones son comodisimas y hermosas! La terraza con vista al mar Wow! La atención de todo el Staff buenísima! El servicio de Consierge y Mayordomo súper atentos a todo lo que necesitáramos! Siempre se acordaban de nuestros nombres… Es un lugar muy tranquilo… perfecto para descansar… "

"cute house with character. Fabulous location steps from the beach. The little unheated pool was plenty warm in late March. We enjoyed delicious meals by both Gloria and Marriza. A few minor details – three of four beach chairs were broken and there were inadequate kitchen cleaning supplies. Luckily Gloria brought a sponge. also replies to our messages were a bit slow, particularly before the trip started as we were making final plans. All in all, we’d rent this property again!"
