"We stayed at Villa Romo for 10 days. The perfect place to get away and appreciate a slower pace and Spanish way of life. Carl & Maria were attentive throughout. Only snag was getting to the house on day one, as we were driving from Toledo. Managed to find the house before dark; a plus! The home is quite remote and it took us about 30 minutes to get there from the small town of Rio Gordo. (My advice is to buy groceries before you arrive.) However that comes with a couple of kilometre drive along a hilly country road which is in part unmade. If hiring a car, something to consider. "We spent two weeks at Casa Rosa. Gary was an excellent host who responded quickly to our questions and even resolved an issue with the internet very quickly. The property itself was super clean, well presented and maintained. Bedrooms are well proportioned with plenty of space. "Casa 14 was everything we were looking for . Quiet tranquil location yet not too far from the village for its bars , restaurants and historic centre . The outside ares and pool were beautifully maintained and the villa was really well equipped. We spent a month at Casa 14 but could happily stayed longer. A very tranquil relaxing atmosphere. The owners ,Mathilde and Jim ,were so helpful and always responded quickly to any questions we had. We would definitely return to this gorgeous property ."

All very spacious, clean, thoughtfully layed out, with all items you would need at a holiday space. Kids loved the pool and eating outside with the spectacular views across the hills to the sea. Comares (the most beautiful village in Andalucia) was a short drive or a long pleasant walk away and had a large selection of very good bars and restaurants, plus some friendly local shops. "Chris and Karen met us at the villa and couldn’t have been more helpful. We had a few issues with the electricity but once shown how to reset this all was good. The beds were extremely comfortable and the outside area was a delight with the pool set at a very comfortable heat. You will need a car as there are not any shops within walking distance. The welcome pack was very much appreciated, especially as we arrived on a day when all the shops were shut for a festival!"
