"Ricardo forgot that we had a reservation! He left the country without telling his housekeeper or his brother about our stay. I am just grateful that his housekeeper came out of the house after we kept ringing the gate bell to inform us what happened. But understandably she couldn't let us in so we had to wait for Ricardo's brother. Once he saw our confirmation, he made sure to smooth everything out and we were able to stay in the property. "We had a wonderful time staying in one of Koko aqua lodge’s over the water bungalow for a few days while visiting Bocas Del Toro,Panama….And what made it even better were the super friendly people who run the place in particular Heylis who is a great host and a real good singer in a local band…Thank you all ☺️"

"A fun and peaceful place to stay, away from the large crowds. It’s about a 10–15 minute walk to the main town or borrow bikes to ride from the owners. The sunsets are absolutely breathtaking, and you can easily arrange for taxi boats to pick you up right from here to head out on your next adventure."
