"Fantastic resort with everything within easy reach. Extensive choice of pools to choose from, several high quality à la carte restaurants and a choice of bars. The rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed. The resort staff cannot do enough to help you - the service is impeccable. I cannot recommend this resort enough."

"Overall excellent and lived up to my expectations, based on all the other positive reviews here. In terms of the lovely private garden down to the beach, the beautiful undeveloped sandy beach itself, and the quite pool area, it was just what I wanted for. a few days to chill in perfect weather, and better than expected. The room was also nice and comfortable (they gave me a mattress topper immediately, which was perfect, as I thought the mattress was a tad hard). Bathroom is quite basic, but it's not a five-star hotel and it's perfectly clean, but could have better ventilation, as no external window. Big issue is the overall location, apart from the private access to the beach, as it's right next to a very busy motorway, and a big junction, so there is no town to walk to or places to visit locally. Cancelada has little to offer (it's in the name!), and even then it is some distance to walk to, as you have to walk a long way to a pedestrian bridge to cross over the motor-way. So if you like being in a place where you can walk to nice restaurants and cafes and bars, from your hotel, and sit out in the evenings, this is not the place for you. I found the food in the hotel to be of very mixed quality. Otherwise you are having to get taxis to go anywhere else. Staff were all really excellent, friendly and helpful. If you did not have good weather and could not sit out by the pool, or go to the beach, there wouldn't be much else to do here."

"We had a wonderful week at Ivy’s apartment. It was spotlessly clean on arrival and very well equipped both internally and externally. The apartment is on a beautiful complex and is situated in a fabulous position, a few steps from one of the pools, the bar/restaurant and the beach. It benefits from the private garden area and lovely outside furniture which includes a couple of loungers. We did not hire a car but found a number of nice places to eat within walking distance plus a well stocked Aldi 15-20 mins walk away (easy to get an UBER back with groceries). We also easily got the bus to Estepona and Puerto Banus for evenings out. It would have been useful to have an information file in the apartment (maybe there was one which we didn’t find) and also communication in the run up to our trip could have been a little smoother. But neither detracted from us have a fantastic time."

"Wow! We have just returned from a wonderful six‑night stay as 2 adults and 4 children, and the apartment was absolutely perfect for us. There was ample space throughout, including generous front and rear terraces, meaning we could enjoy sunshine all day while still having shaded areas when needed.This is by far the most well‑equipped apartment I have ever stayed in, everything has clearly been carefully thought through. It’s obvious the property is very well loved and tastefully presented throughout.We also really enjoyed the pool and beautifully maintained communal gardens, which were a lovely place to relax. Directly opposite the apartment is a fantastic tennis club that the whole family made great use of, including a children’s play area, café and football goals where the kids happily spent time playing football.Debbie was a brilliant host, answering all my questions before arrival and providing excellent restaurant recommendations.We didn’t hire a car; instead, we pre‑booked a taxi from Málaga Airport, walked easily to Lidl and Mercadona, and used Uber for trips into Estepona town and Puerto Banús. We enjoyed several seafront restaurants, including La Antigua and Pepe’s, and also walked into Cancelada for a fantastic meal at Don Giovanni, which I’d highly recommend. One of our sons wanted to watch Liverpool, we were able to watch this at The 3 Monkeys bar.I rarely return to the same holiday destination twice, but I would absolutely return here without hesitation"
