"Hello, I wanted to share my thoughts on my recent stay at Nowhere, which was truly a unique experience. The facility itself felt wonderfully lush and immersive, almost like stepping into a jungle. While I typically opt for all-inclusive resorts when I travel, this time I wanted to try something different, and Nowhere certainly delivered. The setting offered a secluded, off-the-grid atmosphere that was perfect for relaxing, yet it was conveniently just a short 7-10 minute drive from town. One aspect worth mentioning is the lack of air conditioning. Although this was clearly stated in the advertisement, my unfamiliarity with Panama's tropical climate made me underestimate how essential AC would be. Given the humidity and heat, it was a bit uncomfortable at times. Aside from that, the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with anything we needed. The owner was especially delightful to speak with and provided helpful information about the surrounding areas. Overall, I would rate my experience at Nowhere an 8 out of 10. "Jane was an amazing host! Responsive and informative-house was absolutely stunning-views incredible-everything you need-water was SO clean AND warm :) Jane sent links for tours, needed walking maps, numbers for water taxi and other valuable suggestions. Couldn’t have been better. We were two families with the other family staying in an adjacent rental (that host didn’t compare and was pretty intrusive-cameras everywhere, had an “inspection” upon leaving, hovered….no comparison). Thank you Jane for a wonderful vacation experience!"

"This was our first time living in a cottage on stilts over the crystal Caribbean and it was amazing. Beautiful sunsets off the dock down Saigon Bay each night. We brought our car but also used plentiful taxis and water taxis. The hosts are wonderful, friendly, professional but also personal. We will 100% stay here again. "

"The place is magical, right on the water, with a beautiful coral reef teeming with fish below for snorkeling. There's a small kayak for you to use; I used it to watch the sunset and it was beautiful. My wife loved this place. It's quiet, with a very peaceful vibe. It's about a 15-minute boat ride to get there. The owner, Philip, was very attentive and kind. This place definitely has a beautiful vibe; highly recommended."

"Villa Reef was absolutely amazing. They definitely care about their guests and it shows in all the touches in the villa. There is everything you could think of in the kitchen, the rooms were lovely but best of all was the location and view. We could snorkel, paddle board and kayak right off the dock. Amir, the concierge was amazing at helping out with whatever questions we had and arranged the 15 minute water taxis to and from town. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone. Absolutely wonderful stay! "

Playa Tortuga Hotel Beach And Resort

"Our stay at Playa Tortuga was unfortunately very disappointing. From the moment we checked in, it was clear that the property is poorly maintained. The overall cleanliness of the place was lacking, especially in the rooms and bathrooms. The bathroom was in unacceptable condition—there was no shower head, visible stains on the walls and fixtures, and we even encountered roaches, which was extremely unpleasant and concerning. The room itself did not feel clean or well cared for, which made the stay uncomfortable. Basic maintenance and hygiene standards were clearly not met. For a hotel that markets itself as a relaxing place to stay, this was far from the experience we expected. The food was average at best. While it was edible, it did not stand out in terms of quality or variety. To make matters worse, on the day of checkout, we went for breakfast at 7:30 AM and were told that breakfast was not available, even though the hotel states that breakfast starts at 7:00 AM. It appeared that service only begins once more guests arrive, which is very inconvenient for travelers with early plans. Overall, this stay was a letdown due to poor cleanliness, lack of proper maintenance, and inconsistent service. Based on our experience, I would not recommend Playa Tortuga to anyone, and we would not consider staying here again."
