"The best thing about this property was the staff, all were great, but one Zara was exceptional. Zara made our stay and others in my extended families stay notable. She took care of us from check-in to check-out, especially my grandnieces with special treats. Listen up Village Hotel Management, you have a gem in Zara and her customer service skills and empathy for guests should be taught to all staff. On this trip I stayed in six hotels from London to Paris to Amsterdam, but I can say that the Village Hotel stay was the second to none because of Zara. "

"Very comfortable hotel. Warm welcome from the staff. Well located, you can park and ride into oxford close by. Next door is a supermarket if you need it. We ate there and both dinner and breakfast were very tasty. We also appreciated the laundry facilities, given we are in a long trip. "

The highlight was coming back to find a mini cake and birthday card waiting in our room, such a thoughtful touch! The room was clean, spacious, and quiet, which made for a very comfortable stay. Everything was smooth from check-in to check-out. We really appreciated the little details and the warm service. "Really enjoyed our stay here. Room was lovely bar a very large dark dirt mark across one of the chairs. Great location and so quiet despite being so close to the main road! Slightly disappointed by the diner as when we got there half the menu was not available due to not having enough ingredients. Other than that would highly reccomend this hotel for a staycation "
