"I stay there a lot when flying into or out of Heathrow. It's very convenient. The staff are always nice and parking is good and central. Then of course, it's super convenient for the prehistoric stone circle at Avebury and also a good place for Stonehenge. If you want a modern place, this isn't for you, but if you don't mind things being 17th Century,maybe it is."

The room was clean and comfortable with a brilliant shower that I did not have to faff around with adjusting, just turned on and it was the perfect temperature.

"This was a very cool 15th century building, and you can tell: low doorways, sloped floors, ancient doors-- it's all there. The room was great, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was nice, the shared parlor was a bonus. But, if you just want to bask in history, this is the place to stay. And, as an extra treat, the front of the building was featured in Harry Potter 5. We loved it! "
