"I arrived and found that my stay had been cancelled by hotels.com! I advised them I had not cancelled but had made an inquiry about doing so since I had the trip insurance for this stay but was advised the stay was not eligible, so I therefore advised to disregard through the virtual system! Luckily the manager had saved the room realizing it had been paid in full and thought this was odd !!!!!!!!!! I believe the trip insurance is fraudulent and therefore in violation of our state laws and a review by the AG is warranted! The manager should be commended and the hotel is a gem for this area! I have already booked my next stay at the property while there thus resulting in a huge savings versus Hotels,com/Expedia! Let this be a lesson not only to me but anyone using the afforementioned site! Thanks again to the hotel and staff for a great stay as I will not be using hotels.com in the future! "

"This was our second time staying at this beautiful home on the lake. House has everything you could ask for in comfort and quality furniture and appliances throughout the house. Couldn’t ask for a nicer or quieter place to stay on the lake. "

"What a bonus when visiting family. Absolutely a beautiful hotel, they brought me ice at 11:30 pm to my door and a pot of coffee at 7:00 am. I felt like I was in New York. They also had bicycles for guests and it was so fun to ride around this cute small town and soak it up. You must stay here!!!"

"PERFECTION, I seriously don't know what else to say!!! The absolute perfect getaway for our family and friends whom ranged from 3 years old to 67. The House appeared to be brand new, everything is high-end luxurious from the furniture, beds, all the way downstairs to the outside pool and hot-tub. A fenced in area provided complete seclusion for privacy. Everything was very clean and organized. Never a boring moment with tons to do for all ages of people we had. Just a short walk away we were able to rent a pontoon at a very affordable price and Kaylee the host gave us a dock to park the boat near bye. Also a short walk was Bayview restaurant, they had live music and drinks and it was a really neat place. While on the boat we had access across the lake to several other fun bars and destinations and a beach where all kinds of people were tied up swimming and having fun. I literally felt like I was somewhere in Florida Keys the lake was such a blast. We will be making this our yearly family trip now, we already told Kaylee to save our dates next year. Only one thing went wrong, the coffee maker broke but Kaylee had us a new one within the hour, such nice people. I highly recommend and enjoy! "
