"The listing was very accurate based on pictures and had a very true lake house feel. Only complaint is about the next-door neighbor's dog. The red brick house had a dog that came over to our rental property and barked aggressively and blocked my grandkids and daughter in law from walking up the path to the house from boat ramp. The owner eventually came out and got the dog. We only had the one-time problem."

"Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, but when we got there, the kitchen floor was sticky, so we had to clean it. There were cobwebs and dust too. Broken plates in the cabinet with a note from December, so obviously that hasn’t been checked. There is no phone service at the house, so you have to drive up to the jail to make a call. "We have vacationed at Smith Lake several times, primarily on either the central or Eastern fork. This was the first time we had stayed West of Dunkin Bridge. We found it as nice as the other places, and a bit less trafficed. The house was wonderful. We had three families stay and had plenty of room. The accommodations were very good, the house very clean and the amenities what we expect. We would definitely come back."
