"We stayed here over Thanksgiving weekend and had a wonderful time. The views from every window are beautiful, especially the “crow’s nest”! The home was perfectly suited for a large family having bathrooms to every bedroom, access to a washer and dryer and a very well stocked kitchen. "Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, but when we got there, the kitchen floor was sticky, so we had to clean it. There were cobwebs and dust too. Broken plates in the cabinet with a note from December, so obviously that hasn’t been checked. There is no phone service at the house, so you have to drive up to the jail to make a call. "We have vacationed at Smith Lake several times, primarily on either the central or Eastern fork. This was the first time we had stayed West of Dunkin Bridge. We found it as nice as the other places, and a bit less trafficed. The house was wonderful. We had three families stay and had plenty of room. The accommodations were very good, the house very clean and the amenities what we expect. We would definitely come back."
