The young man that checked me in was rude. The room was dirty and when I asked if he could send maintenance down to clean just the bathroom area, he looked at me like I was crazy. A young man from maintenance came down and cleaned the bathroom area. He was very polite. I understand that you get what you pay for, but it’s not difficult to be kind.

TV was shattered in 1 room and did not work in other room. Roaches in bathroom. Tub dirty and sheets stained. AC did not work very well. Very cheap price so do not expect much but should be better than this.

Everything was a mess. The bed had a thin mattress sitting on an unstable metal box that made a heck of a noise. The TV didn't work which was not surprising since all sorts cords were hanging out of it. The bedspread had holes all over it that seemed to have been burned into it. The sink was full of hair and dirty. The only light switch was by the door and there was no lamp on the bedside table so turning out the light and going across the room in the dark was not fun. There were small black things everywhere. No idea what they were. The tub was very dirty. All in all, it felt like a scam.

The tub faucet was running a slow leak. The bathroom had mold on the tile. Some of the towels was dirty looking (dark in color for white) while the other towels was white. The pillowcases had stains on them and color of white was questionable as well. Sleep on top of the sheets and bed spread, did not want to take a chance on dirty sheets. Thankfully, it was only for one night.

I do not expect high level accommodation at this price point. However, basic standards of cleanliness should be present. This room lacked any semblance of concern for guest. The bathroom was not cleaned. There was feces in unflushed toilet. The tub had hair of every description all over it. The overhead vent cover was on floor. I could not shower in such condition and went right to bed, having just driven 800 miles. I got up to use bathroom and was shocked that toilet was not secured to floor with front edge an inch off ground. As such, on contact, the toilet fixture rocked forward, almost throwing me off by surprise. I flushed and liquid was at my feet. In the morning, I noticed that there was not a top sheet and was using the bottom to sheet which meant I was sleeping directly on a dirty mattress. I was disgusted and expressed my concerns with management. His response was that I should have stayed at Super 8 next door and left. I would suggest the travelers consider if the low price of this place is worth the terrible experience that awaits. As for my stay, I would ask that a refund be provided. Nothing is worth having the toilet overflow on your feet in middle of night.
