"We were greeted with...we don't have room for you.....they found a space at Nynashamn Campground in a cabin on the coast.....50 to 60 kms from Stockholm . A train pass cost an extra 350€ so we could visit Stockholm for 2 days. We got up at 4a to drive to Stockholm to catch a 7.30a ferry Fri. The staff at Nynashamn Campground did all they could to make our stay better."

"Our second stay at Hotel Rival and, just like the first time (more than 10 years ago), it was excellent. The hotel is doing something right to be able to maintain such high standards over many years. The breakfast buffet is still one of the best we ever had; the staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. Lovely square in front of the hotel. On our first stay, in December, they sold Christmas trees, and this time, in May, there was a second hand market. Rooms have high quality beds with pillow menus. We missed the teddy bear this time around, but perhaps it is only in rooms when young children stay? (my child not so young anymore now). We hope to be back a bit sooner this time!"
