Weird place - Attention extra fees We really wanted to give them a Change, even with some negative Reviews, but Most of them are true. At first: yes It smells weird a Mix between carpetglue and If there was a fire burning before. The Check-in was not inspiring, on Expedia was No information about an extra Fee for the Pool, which was in the wellnesscenter, although there are informations about extra fees for animals. But we Had to pay extra for the Pool 18€ - Person! A day! No discussion or Concession! IT May have been acceptable If the wellnesscenter would have been worked. But the mens Sauna - did Not Work, the steam sauna - did Not Work, the Water-Massage at the Pool - did Not Work. The room was Kind of ok, but the smell...and yes the heating did Not Work well. So the Bath was cold anyway, because there ist No heating at all. At the time we were there there have been Renovation works(?) so we haven been waked up by impact drilling machines. Ongoing Repair work on many Corners. The breakfast was an American Standard, but the scrambled eggs have been a soup. The Location of the Hotel ist weird too, in the middle of a residential area. A fun fact: on the Best Western webside faq is a Q. Does the Best Western Plus Skogshojd have a pool? No, we do not have a pool Well, weird... Overall dissapointing experience.

We were given a dated small room. Then when challenged that the photos have nothing to do with advertised photos, we were moved to the updated section of the hotel which looks like the photos.

Fick rum som ej motsvarade beskrivning vid bokning. Ingen luftkonditionering på rummet och endast tillgänglig bordsfläkt räckte ej till. Påminde om Fawlty Towers i planlösning med väldigt långt gångavstånd från reception till bokat rum (hiss till 3:e våningen, gång förbi hela spa-anläggningen samt ny hiss till 5:e våningen). Avsaknad av omgivande restauranger eller affärer förutom en pizzeria. Begränsad men ändock tillgång till fria parkeringsplatser där tillståndet måste förnyas varje dygn. Mycket bra hotellfrukost Dyrt (3100 kr för två nätter) i förhållande till helhetsintrycket

One receptionist was arrogant. Everything we asked he always have negative answers. For example we asked for icecubes he said machine was broken. But when we asked the other and we got icecubes. And a lot more that everytime its him we asked for something its always negative. With our 3 nights stay it's not nice to get a service like it.

Välstädat och mycket rent ❤️

Rummet vi fick var mycket rent och välstädat, vilket vi verkligen uppskattade. Det enda vi upplevde som mindre bra var att det blev ganska varmt under natten. Även om det fanns en elektrisk fläkt, tror vi att luftkonditionering hade varit att föredra, särskilt under sommaren. I övrigt är vi mycket nöjda med vår vistelse, och barnen uppskattade verkligen möjligheten att få bada också.

Inte alls nöjd.

+ fungerade bra att övernatta. Sköna sängar kuddar. - väldigt varmt på rummet och det fanns endast en liten fläkt till ”hjälp” Frukosten var en stor besvikelse. Vi kom vid 08:30 och då var det slut på mycket av det som borde finnas framme (smör, juice, mjölk, pannkakor, bröd) och dåligt utbud av bröd och yoghurt (naturell eller filmjölk).

Vid incheckningen fick vi inte veta att det fanns parkeringsgarage utan fick bara höra att gratis parkering fanns en promenad bort från hotellet. Vi fick inte heller veta att det fanns möjlighet att vistas i poolen annan tid än 9-12. 2 extra avgifter som vi gärna hade spenderat. Rummet låg i gassande sol hela dagen utan ac eller bra ventilation = VARMT. Lyhört, äldre hus med uppfräschade ytor. Helt okej boende.

Die Zimmer sind okay gewesen, das Hotel befindet sich mitten im Umbau und einiges ist nicht voll zugänglich. Die Betten waren schrecklich unbequem und der Topper ist immer runter gefallen. Die Zimmer besitzen keine Klimaanlage.

Fick ett orenoverat familjerum. Slitet. Smutsigt golv under och runt sängarna. Endast tre kanaler på tv 1,2 och tv4. Det som gjorde besöket mer värt var att det fanns inomhuspool. Kul för barnen. Dock obemannat och ena bubbelpoolen var trasig.

Det som var mindre bra var att det var väldigt varmt på rummet (3514). En bidragande orsak till detta, är att ventilationsanläggningen (frånluft i badrummet) stängs av nattetid.

Vi läste väldigt många negativa kommentarer innan vilket vi inte tyckte stämde alls under vår vistelse. Cloudia i lobbyn/receptionen var fantastisk och gjorde vår vistelse. Utmärkt service, rent, sköna sängar, god frukost och fint och uppskattad pool.

Slitna allmänna ytor, men fina rum!

Rummet var fint och fräscht, men allt annat känns väldigt slitet. Spa-avdelningen skulle vara öppen för alla 9-13. När vi kom dit var bara en bubbelpool igång och sen blev vi utslängda kl.10 av hantverkare som skulle laga läckage i stora poolen. Detta ledde till väldigt besvikna barn som såg fram emot att bada. Tillgång till pool var 98% av anledningen till att vi valde hotellet. Gymmet är ett konferensrum med inslängda hantlar och ett fåtal maskiner på parkettgolv. Knappt användbart. I allmänhet rätt slitet helt enkelt. Men vårt rum var fint och all personal vi stötte på var jättetrevlig!

Ett hotell som kan överraska

Jag kan inte riktigt bestämma mig vad jag tycker om hotellet. Å ena sidan är det ett slitet 80-tals hotell med trasiga gångjärn i garderoben i ett för varmt rum med väggar i behov av ny puts och studs i tråkigt bostadsområde. Å andra sidan var frukosten riktigt bra, ett spa med fräsch stor pool, perfekt läge mellan Tom tits och Torekällsberget och småsaker som att de bjuder på kaffe i take-away mugg vid utcheckningen som är först kl 12:00. Sammntaget är jag ändå väldigt nöjd och därför min fyra!

Trevlig personal. Snäll mot min 8-åring och föreslog att vi skulle prova poolen innan utcheckning. Där hade vi jätteroligt. Vet inte om poolen alltid är gratis eller bara för att det var lågsäsong, men roligt hade vi. Byggnaden är lite gammal men det kunde vi se redan på bilderna när vi bokade. Det var förväntat. Ändå rent och snyggt. Frukosten var toppen.
