"Just back from a spring getaway to beautiful Roan Mountain. This was our second stay at Kim and Art's lovely mountain cottage. Had a great time hiking with our dogs, who loved being off leash at the property. The cottage is clean, cozy and artfully decorated. Our hosts were warm and welcoming. "We had a great time at the treehouse! There was more than enough room for my family of 5. We all had so much fun. Beautiful view. The only thing that i could say is. There wasnt enough curtains to cover all the windows. They had a sign that said leave door locked for bears (paraphrasing) and my kids were terrified at night. They were worried about bears looking the windows. LOL but thats how kids are. Also, my 4 year old came to the mountains dying to see Bigfoot. And they had Bigfoots height...

"Wonderful home, very well stocked and cleaned. Great water, pressure, hot water. The perfect location on the river we had so much fun playing in the river for 2 1/2 days. Close enough to town if you needed anything from the store. We got Walmart Delivery a couple times which was just as quick as when we’re at home In a bigger city. This was truly one of the best VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. We are truly hoping to come back Every year!"

The kitchen was well stocked so cooking was easy. Great, location, too! The cabin is in a quiet, rural setting and it was an easy drive to nearby attractions, as well. We would return in a heartbeat!"
