Everything was very nice and clean. All the beds were extremely comfortable and the towels were nice and fluffy. It was a very nice spot to stay and we will be back.
John and Billie are excellent hosts. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for out stay. Communication was quick and clear. The house was very well stocked and clean. We enjoyed our stay and the time we spent engaging with our hosts.
We had a wonderful stay with kids. The property is close to nice hiking trails that are not crowded. House was super clean and had lots of space. We really enjoyed our stay!
Very quiet and welcoming home with comfortable beds and furniture, games, dvds, large dining table, etc… The owners have thought of everything to make you feel at home away from home, right down to the neighbor just up the road with anything you forgot to bring! Nice little fenced in area for the pups. Nostalgic farmhouse with all the modern updates. We only stayed for two nights this time but did get to visit Bristol Speedway in Lights and eat some fantastic food at Nancy’s Family Restaurant! Will definitely be back!
This a great place to stay!! Very clean and accommodating. We had bon fires every night. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard. Very peaceful and calming. Elizabethton is a nice small town vibe with antique and boutique shops. You will not be disappointed!
The property was very clean and well stocked with coffee, paper products, towels and linens. As well as a arrangement of snacks. Check in and out was very easy
One of our favorite vacation rentals! The owners added so many personal touches to make sure that their guests were comfortable. We had snacks and keurig pods in the kitchen; toppers on the beds; three separate sleep spaces; and a washer, dryer, and dishwasher. Everything had been remodeled and there were plenty of outlets for our electronic devices. Billie and John were friendly and helpful. We hope to return!
Very clean and organized. Host included extras such as snacks and water and extra toiletries. Very pretty setting and getting to meet Billie and John and discover our shared experiences was lovely! Highly recommended!
Our hosts were the definition of southern hospitality. They were proactive and went above and beyond due to an unexpected water main break in the area. The home was very clean, well maintained, and well stocked.
The Homestead is beautiful and peaceful. Having a place that has a fenced in yard for the fur baby is so helpful and convenient. This is the most clean place and has everything you could need for a getaway/vacation. The owners and John are the best people you'll meet. We will be back!
My husband and I and our dog had a wonderful stay over Christmas. The house was clean and comfortable and exceeded our expectations! The house was equipped with everything we needed plus lots of unexpected extras. The house has a lot of history, and we enjoyed learning about it from our friendly hosts. Great location to explore the area. We can't wait to return!
The place was extremely clean, would not know that any pets have ever stayed here. Billie and John were great. We loved sitting by at the fire pit in the evenings and the grill was great to cookout on. I loved seeing the cows. We will definitely stay again.

The hosts were very kind and attentive. We loved all the personal touches and the attention to detail that enhanced the overall experience. The property has a nice little fenced-in yard which is a bonus for all who travel with their fur babies. We recommend this property to anyone visiting the Elizabethton and Tri-Cities area.
This is an excellent place to stay. it was very neat, clean and comfortable. But one of the nicest things about it were all the little extras the host has made available. like snacks and a large array of toiletries etc. Seems like little things but to someone who traveled a lot in his career the " the little things mean a lot" when you are away from home.
We were moving from Florida to Tennessee and stayed at this VRBO. The owners were so sweet. The home was perfect for our family and our dogs. It. is in a great location too. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.
The hosts Billie + John are great, they are friendly, caring and respond to any questions or concerns. The property is as described and was a great base for exploring the area. The hosts have thought of everything you could need and provided it ahead of time. We will stay here again when we visit Northeast Tenn.
Excellent stay in all regards. We stayed for a week between leaving our rental and moving into our new house. Having our pets stay with us was especially wonderful. Plenty of space for all of us. Comfortable beds, great wifi, and equipped kitchen. Keyless coded entry made check-in super easy. Thank you John and Billie. You were so helpful.
First off, I have never stayed in a cleaner rental than Billie and John's Farmstead. They make you feel so welcoming with all the little extras they add. Our whole stay there just had that warm relaxing feel. The fenced in area for our dog was a great addition to our stay. He even felt at home! And Billie and John are just the sweetest couple. We will definitely be back to visit. If you're visiting this area, this is the one!
Buddy and I spent weekend fishing the Watauga and stayed here for two nights. It was perfectly located between put in and takeout. It is very clean and comfortable. I also brought the pup and he loved it. Billie is a very gracious host and her place was stocked well with everything we needed. We will be back in a few weeks hopefully. Thank you, Billie!!
