"I’m a light sleeper and specifically asked the front desk staff for a room that would be on the “quieter” side. Eventually got to my room after some errands and heard all the I-81 traffic. I used my sounds masking app but it didn’t help much. This was 2nd time (and last time) I stayed here. Sounded like the interstate went through the hotel. If you have to sTy here ask for a room on the west (non-interstate) side. Left at 4am cuz noise was terrible. "

"Great hotel. The staff were excellent. The room was clean. They have a restaurant on site and there are plenty of others off site, some within walking distance."

"Staff was nice. Room was not clean but looks like sheets were ok. Door hinges were solid rust and had to push it closed. Entry switch turned on no lights and lights beside bed did not work (tried every combination with the wall switch). There was a Wendy’s drink in the freezer (would have preferred complimentary wine). There was something splattered on bathroom door. Top of refrigerator was filthy. Honestly, was afraid to touch anything. 216 FYI. "

"I usually stay at Red Roof Inn when I'm in Kingsport and never really had issues but when I stayed on March 14th the room was not very clean the fridge still had the last persons food in it and coke was spilled all in it. The cover had burn holes all on it from cigarettes. Definitely was unsatisfied with the past stay this time."
