"The best parts about this cottage are its location in Camp Meeting, which is a quaint, quiet, wooded, camp-like community, walkable to dining and family friendly events, the wrap around porch, and the time period decor. The sleeping arrangements with 4 mixed gender teens were a challenge, but if your teen/preteen, our you (parent) don't mind taking the couch, there is plenty of room for 6 guests like is in this cottage. "My husband and I had another wonderful stay on Carol's property in May. We wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else when we are in the area. From the moment of our arrival, we are welcomed by Carol and her delicious scones and fresh eggs from her chickens. We feel relaxed as soon as we open the door. "The Riverhouse was the perfect place for my solo getaway to take in all of what the area has to offer. There was much to enjoy on the property including the hot tub, huge deck, modern bathroom and kitchen with just about everything you can imagine, enormous TV in the family room, and convenient off-street parking. The views of the river were awe-inspiring and he sunsets are truly amazing. Josh was very responsive via both text and phone when needed. I would highly recommend staying here to...

"Beautiful quaint property with many amenities and very close to downtown Lancaster and Tanger outlets while maintaining the authentic Amish charm. The hosts were super friendly. The family dog, Ellie, was super sweet and greeted us every day while playing outside. There is a lot to do that don't require screens, so it provided a nice break from the technology dominated lives we all live these days. Everything was ad advertised.
