A 1930's restored cottage placed perfectly along the Millstream with large mature trees in a large backyard overlooking the Millstream.
This home has 4 bedrooms including 3 king size beds and a double bed, all made with luxurious bedding.
Featuring a dining area and breakfast nook with 4 spacious living areas.
A studio suite is located in the lower level of the home featuring a king size bed, family room, kitchenette and a bathroom. There is a door at the bottom of the stairs for privacy, and a outdoor entrance leading into the backyard.
Enjoy our deck with a table and seating overlooking the backyard and the Millstream.

You will love the coziness you feel as you enter our newly restored cottage, it features a lot of open space for a weekend away with your family and friends or a wonderful peaceful setting for you and your spouse.

Cottage was very cozy and quaint

The cottage was in a great location and convenient to all the things we wanted to do and see during our visit to Lancaster. It was very comfortable for our three couples, allowing the ladies a place to talk while the guys could talk and watch tv. We would stay here again.

Elegant farmhouse in Lancaster

We were an adult family of six (three couples). Each of us had a king size bed with en suite. Plenty of accommodations.. full kitchen, linens, perfect for a night in or after a busy day, a cozy bed to come home to. Beyond clean, nicely decorated and the grounds were inviting. The location was perfect for us. We visited Sight & Sound theater and enjoyed the Amish markets; all within 10 minutes from the house. Plenty of things to do nearby as well as places to eat. Our two night visit was therapeutic. We hope to be back soon. Cheers to Becky and Nathan for use of this charming home and thank you for letting us stay! Highly recommend….

Older home

The home needs work, the roof leaked (rained about every day while there) stairs to go upstairs was very steep and not for elderly folks, no door on stairs leading to basement. Basement needs improvement as shower and sink felt and looked dirty. On the plus side, the beds were very comfortable, kitchen and dining room had been upgraded.

Comfy large home in Lancaster

Very comfortable and attractive home away from home. I was there for 31 days . From snow melt to blooming Magnolias and daffodils ! A great private location with trees all around . Plenty of parking. Comfortable furniture. Fireplace . Very little traffic on the road infront. Recommended.

Beautiful cottage on the Millstream

The cottage was lovely and surprisingly quiet considering it is on a busy road. The kids loved the little pool table and we enjoyed the fire pit out back for roasting marshmallows. My only suggestion would be for a few more kitchen items like a good can opener, measuring cups and a couple more pots and pans. The area is nice and easy to take short hops to Bird in Hand and Lititz. We enjoyed the house and hope to come back next year!

Loved the Cottage

We loved the area! Very quiet and close to alot of things to do. There were several light bulbs out in different areas areas and could have used more stoage for clothing. Small dressers would have been nice. We made do since our agechas taught us to do so. Thank you for sharing your lovely cottage with us!!!

Definitely A Great Place To Re-Visit

We are a group of friends who like to stay local in Lancaster County. It allows us to get away for a weekend of fellowship & fun without losing time for travel. This place was perfect!! We all loved the way that this very old house was updated, but yet the age and charm remain. Great, comfortable, king-size beds, which we all enjoyed. There was an issue with the dishwasher not working, but the owners responded immediately!

Good stay. Could be great with some TLC to the house

Overall I want to say I had a positive experience in this house. It has a great location, huge property and cool sunrises and sunsets you can see from the house. The house is an interesting mix of very modern, and old-school Lancaster (the updated parts were great, the rest.....). While the house was clean, and had everything we needed, there are some parts of the house that I was surprised about. A hardwood floorboard in the kitchen that I could almost bounce on, and in the basement, the floor was raised in 1 part where all of us would inevitably trip or hit our foot as we walked by. The "barn" door on the first floor that would always crash into the floor vent. Another vent in the kitchen sticking up 1/2 an inch. Little things like this that could make the house amazing if they were fixed. Also, they need a keurig, I was surprised for some of its modern aspects, this was missing. Overall we did have a really nice time, but I think I'd wait to return until some of these items were repaired.

This picture was taken decades ago

The pictures on the listing for the outside are very misleading. It was not the clean yellow cottage with nice landscaping! That picture has to be a couple decades old. We arrived to a dirty white cottage in need of power washing and coat of paint. The gutters were black with mildew, in back too) with grass growing out of gutter at front door. Lanterns were dirty. We thought “oh no what have we gotten into”. The inside was nice. The pool table was unplayable cause top was all ripped up. The picture shows a pristine table. They need to fix it or remove it. We realized it was a 1930 cottage but the bathroom downstairs shower needs repair. We were all in our mid 70’s and the stairs are VERYsteep with a narrow turn. That needs to be mentioned in description.

This cottage is in a great location with close proximity to Sight & Sound, shopping, Strasburg, etc. We had plenty of space for 7 family members in 3 generations.
