I’ve stayed at other La Quintas, pretty unsatisfactory to the least. But this one was a different story. It was really nice for the price. Clean, modern, in a good location, guests were respectable. Had a buffet for breakfast. Nothing to complain about!

Easy parking. Lots of grass areas for walking a dog. Room was clean and quiet. At breakfast had decaf coffee (many hotel continental breakfasts do not). I stay here every time I stop in Elkhart. Nice to have good overhang for unloading / loading in the rain.

The area was nice and the check in was easy. My room had a leak in the ceiling and the trash can was sitting on the desk to catch it. They did at least come and change the trash bag the next day.

Second time overnighting here. Simple, clean room. Friendly staff. Elevator out of order at evening check-in. 2nd floor room toting up a pet carrier was balanced with a waved pet fee. All operational by morning. Fair enough. Would stay again.
