"Unplugging from regular life for a week was great, nephew (age 7) went through withdrawl from the internet though. So many places to go hiking we were busy all the time. Going to town for groceries wasn't bad! The river was a bit cool for swimming, but was a grand adventure regardless. Definitely recommend!"

"The staff was friendly and very helpful..the room was very clean and comfortable..I had a procedure done that day in Morgantown..could not drive for 24 hours and didn’t want to drive on home to just turn around and return later that evening for the Jr Royalty Parade so instead I made reservations to stay there so that we could attend the Strawberry Festival that weekend. "Beautiful original log home. Deck built out on Cheat River for gorgeous views and wildlife. Wonderful fire pit area. Definite location! The home is well equipped with many hospitalities. Awesome hot tub all of property direct views of the river. Fishing was fabulous too!"

"This place is exactly what we needed for a girls weekend away. Nice cozy cabin. Excellent fire ring for a campfire. Hot tub set up is very nice. The property is beautiful, and there is a lot of wildlife around. The ponds on the property are really nice, containing lots of fish, frogs, tadpoles, salamanders, and other critters. Overallan excellent place!!. "
