"The hotel was in a beautiful location in Savannah and had a very accommodating and friendly staff. If we’re lucky enough to go to Savannah again we’ll stay at the same place. "

"I loved the old world charm & the decor. The breakfast & dessert nacks were delicious. The staff were awesome (Gary & Dwayne). The room was very clean & nicely decorated. What I did not like was the noise that you can hear (beautiful tall windows but not sound proof). I also was a little uncomfortable being asked if I wanted to leave a tip after check out. This was totally new & so unsure so I declined. Not because the staff was not great, just caught me off guard. Perhaps some pre warning...

"The President’s Quarters is an excellent choice for a place to stay in Savannah. Wonderful staff with great recommendations of what to see and where to dine. Amazing atmosphere away from the tourist hustle and bustle in the riverfront yet an easy walk to get there. Wonderful breakfast and parking included. We will definitely be back and look forward ti returning. "

"Courteous and helpful staff. Property located near Forsyth Park. Our room was adequate but needed some repairs/renovation. Shower had a rainfall head which did not work and the handheld spray could not be secured for use without hands. Mirror over sink was very small. Lighting in room and bathroom was very dim. Cable TV and internet was not available on the last morning of our stay. Attempted to contact staff via phone but no one answered."

"What a beautiful inn. The staff was warm and welcoming. I enjoyed being away from the touristy river area of Savannah. I took several walks in the quiet Victorian neighborhood where the Inn is located. I was worried about parking but found a spot on a side street pretty easily. All kinds of lovely touches made this stay unique. The most delicious cookies in my room, happy hour and a gourmet breakfast that carried me to dinner! I will be back for a longer stay for sure!"

"We had the best stay at the Stephan Williams House! I could not recommend it enough. Doc was wonderful and so helpful throughout our stay. The house and courtyard are beautiful and very clean. Delicious southern breakfast served daily. The location is perfect, so we never had to use our rental car in the city (which stayed for free in the parking area behind the house). This place beats a hotel any day if you are looking for a truly authentic Savannah experience!"

"OH MY GOODNESS! EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT! SPECTACULAR! The yard and home are beautiful. I received a very warm welcome from Chemise. She served delicious breakfasts in the dining room every morning and was always available if I needed anything. Outside there are garden areas with chairs and tables. It was wonderful to sit and relax while hearing their water fountains. Amethyst Garden Inn is in a great neighborhood. Easy to walk to restaurants, shops and tourist spots.
