Breakfast was simply fantastic with lots of variety. Offered daily toast, evening bar/coffee with snacks. Hosts were friendly and polite with lots of recommendations for things to do/ places to go. Simply a great place to unwind and get massages, peace and quiet! Highly recommend and definitely will return!💕
My wife and I were in Savannah for our 29th anniversary. I got lucky and chose Bellwether based on its location, previous reviews, and pictures. Check in was a breeze and the staff was very helpful. The included breakfast was also very good. Parking was a block away but they have a loading area right there which was great. The premises were very clean, well maintained, and interesting. Lots of outdoor space to enjoy the scenery, with a large courtyard and very nice front porch. The rooms were nicely decorated, clean, and updated. My only issue was the WiFi was unreliable so watching tv was difficult. I would definitely stay here again.
My wife and I had a great stay at Bellwether House. The location was perfect next to the park. Quiet, charming and still walkable to everything you’d want to do. Matt and the rest of the staff were very hospitable. The tea service and breakfast were fantastic! We ate there every morning and evening (before dinner). We’ve already recommended staying here to a few friends and family and would book again without hesitation. 5 stars!
Very diverse and healthy breakfast, clean rooms and dining rooms and interior of house. Staff was very courteous and accommodating. Bar had wide variety drinks, wine and liquors.
Beautiful property, everyone who appreciates architecture will enjoy it. We stayed in the premium king room facing the street. It was quiet. The area is very walkable. The breakfast was nice, a lot of variety, amazing pastries. They also offer afternoon tea, which we tried once and champagne at 6pm. Overall it was a very pleasant stay. I would rate this property at 4.5 stars.
Wonderful "historic" home in a great part of town (midtown, just off Forsyth Park-we highly recommend staying in this part of town which is quiet and convenient). Owners did a great job of adding modern conveniences to the 19th century building making the experience comfortable while getting the feel for the character of Savannah. Staff was friendly and helpful but unobtrusive. We especially liked the second entrance to our room which led out to an expansive balcony.

The house was ok, nothing special. Staff could honestly be a little more friendly and happy to be there which didn’t feel like they did.
Rooms were ok, shelf in bathroom was broken and barely hanging on couple screws.
Also didn’t realize the room we were getting the door is outside, like a motel. So the only time we were inside the actual building was coming back from a walk in the evening and for breakfast. Not worth $400-500 a night. Quite disappointed to be honest.
Breakfast though was good, lots of healthy options, everything looked fresh and the newly remodeled bathroom looked really good.
I would have loved for the music to be more of the house time era to get a full vibe of the historic staying vs Justin Bieber that could be listened to anywhere anytime.
We couldn’t have picked a more romantic backdrop than Bellwether House. From the champagne toasts and tea towers at afternoon service to the incredible breakfasts, every detail was thoughtful. The staff made us feel like honored guests in their home.
Nice, quiet and cute B&B with nice design details and super friendly staff. Not quite the lux spot the listing made it out to be (more like 4 stars than 5) but still a really solid choice if you’re looking for a B&B.
Enjoyed our stay here very much, breakfast was a little on the vegan side which is fine but would have enjoyed some protein with it. Coffee was excellent and staff very friendly
Beautiful, quaint hotel in the heart of Old Savannah. The staff was exceptional and the suite was great. Afternoon tea and breakfast hit the spot. Would definitely recommend The Bellwether if you go to Savannah.
Overall, I must give this place a stellar rating of 20 out of 10! The staff was exceptional—welcoming, attentive, and always ready to assist with any needs. Kobe and Paul were particularly outstanding; they were incredibly friendly, easy to converse with, and simply fantastic!
I chose the Bellwether based on the rave reviews, and it certainly lived up to the hype! The room was stunningly beautiful and cozy. The bathroom was simply breathtaking, with its captivating emerald green and gold accents that exuded an air of luxurious elegance. The entire house exuded a classic and historic charm, yet it was infused with a touch of opulence that made you feel like a star in a timeless film.
Always quaint and comfortable. The only difference this visit is there was a change in ownership and they’ve gotten rid of their chefs, so the breakfast isn’t homemade nor are the tea bites.
