"I stayed here for 3 weeks and the place was great. It was clean, well furnished and tastefully decorated. The street noise from outside wasn't too loud and I enjoyed being close to restaurants. Jill and Paul were excellent hosts and were very responsive. "

"More a self catering flat than an hotel however We were happy with it. It is in the suburbs of St Helens a distance from the town centre. St Helens Junction train station is about 5 mins walk, and a good little cafe for breakfast less than 2 mins walk. The area was quiet at night and there are a couple of local shops equally close for such things as milk for drinks.We used it as a base to explore the area hence we only used the kettle and the wifi. Would be happy to use again."

"On the surface the place looked lovely when we arrived. The floors and kitchen area were clean. However we then noticed all the makeup stains on the chair cushions. There was also no mirror in the bathroom. We then discovered after we had put our food in the oven, that there was no oven gloves or t-towel! We did connect the owner and got a reply straight away, but nothing ever arrived. We were there for two days! There was no fitted sheet to put over the sofa bed, and lots of crumbs on there...
