"Cost is always a criteria for me. Motels in Hays that were safe, inexpensive, (less than $100) and clean were over $200 this weekend because of graduations. I was forced to travel 22 miles to Ellis to find an affordable room. The only drawback, the shower didn't drain. Other than that, it was convenient ..."

Wonderful
"What a wonderful place to have a family reunion. We had our parents, all my siblings, nieces, and nephews. Everyone was comfortable and close. The kids enjoyed exploring in the pasture and the adults enjoyed chilling on the porch. Definitely recommed!"

A nice place to stop
"I want to be fair to the owners - we stayed for less than 8 hours after a weather-delayed arrival, and very early departure as part of a family road trip. The home was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was invigorating in the morning. I would stop there again, for sure."
