Wooded Retreat Home

My Retreat Home is a perfect vacation home for those wanting convenience to all that coastal Maine has to offer! Newly renovated in the "Modern Farmhouse" Style, this 900 sq. ft. home features large well- appointed rooms, dedicated paved parking, air conditioning, washer/dryer, patio furniture, gas grill, WIFI, You-Tube TV subscription, 2 smart-T.V.'s and so much more. The home has one queen bed and is suitable for 2 adults. Many pantry supplies have been provided for our guest's convenience. There are blackout curtains in the bedroom to help you get a good night's sleep on the comfy mattress.

Conveniently located to local lakes and the ocean, the home is just 30 minutes from Acadia National Park, Schoodic Point and Bar Harbor. Close by, you will enjoy bike and hiking trails, kayaking, art festivals, fishing, golfing, beaches, restaurants, concerts and shopping.

Owner maintains an office connected to the home which is accessed through a separate entrance. The office and Retreat Home is soundproofed and separated by 3 walls so noise is not an issue.

Beautiful place in great area

This is a beautiful, comfortable place to stay to explore the surrounding area and Acadia National Park. Kelly is such a gracious host, and we were able to extend out stay because of Hurricane Lee.

Great getaway near Acadia

This property was perfectly located for a visit to Acadia. The home is comfortable and extremely well appointed - Kelley and Gary thought of everything their guests might need. We had a wonderful stay!

Private wooded retreat

We enjoyed our stay at the Wooded Retreat. It was very clean, neat and spacious. It had a well equipped kitchen and laundry area which we appreciated. It was a great location, private and away from the crowds, yet easy to get to everything.

Cozy, quiet home outside of town

Nice clean, quiet property perfect for an intimate getaway. It had everything needed to enjoy a peaceful couple of days. The host, Kelley, was attentive, kind, and responsive. Close enough to Bar Harbor and Acadia without the crowd. I would definitely stay here again!

Maine Retreat

Nice place to base for exploration of the area. Clean and cozy. Close enough to Acadia to be a comfortable commute. We had a great time and had a great place to return to after some awesome day trips to enjoy the beautiful region. Hosts were great.

Perfect place in Acadia area!

My husband and I enjoyed this lovely property so much! It was beautifully decorated, so neat and clean and had everything we needed for our 3 days visiting the area. Convenient to get to Acadia from here, and we loved the privacy and quiet location away from all the other tourists. The hospitality and communication from the host was excellent! A perfect 5 star stay!

Peaceful retreat house

Very clean and well stocked. Everything you could need! The house is about 40 minutes from Bar Harbour. It was nice to get away from the crowds and traffic when we returned to the house in the evenings. Kelly was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again! Thank you Kelly.

Wooded Retreat Home

We spent 3 nights and would highly recommend this property. The home was spotless! Also had anything we might need while cooking, relaxing or doing laundry. Outdoor deck had comfy chairs to sit and read. Approximately 20 miles from Acadia, stores and restaurants nearby. Don’t look any further, you will love it.

Maine getaway

Very amazing getaway in the woods, located not too far from Acadia national park. Amazing fall foliage and natural beauty everywhere you look, even just looking out the properties windows. Amazing service, very clean, there were towels, pots, pans, dishes, salt, pepper, it had all of the little things that make a place truly perfect.

This home was super welcoming and comfortable. It looked brand new! The kitchen was stocked with seasonings, condiments, coffee, and all the conveniences. The location was perfect for visiting Acadia. We enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend!

Wonderful place for a quiet retreat

Thank you, Kelley, for your hospitality! The cottage is great! Very quiet and comfortable, clean and spacious, and cozy at the same time. The kitchen is very well equipped for stay at home dinner, and everything one needs to pack a good snack for a day's hike. The location is very convenient as well, within easy drive to all the wonderful destinations. We loved staying here for the second year in a row and will love to come back again.
