Princess Andriana Resort & Spa – Ultra All Inclusive

10/10 Excellent

"This was our fourth stay here, and it has become our go-to hotel to relax. The food continues to be of a very high standard, and we thoroughly enjoyed it throughout our stay. One small suggestion though – please don’t keep the red wine in the fridge! The addition of the new speciality restaurants is a real bonus. Both the Indian and Mexican restaurants were excellent and were definite highlights of our holiday. The water park is another fantastic addition and adds even more value, especially for families. There are a few areas where some maintenance is needed, particularly around the pool bar, but nothing major. More importantly, the rooms are starting to show their age and could do with a little TLC and closer management oversight. Our room was comfortable, although we had booked a double bed and were given two singles pushed together. It wasn’t a major issue, but when you book a particular room type, it’s nice to receive what you’ve requested. We also had to ask for shower gel and other toiletries to be replenished, which again isn’t a huge problem but is something you wouldn’t expect to have to do in a five-star hotel. We also arrived to find a damaged lampshade, which remained unreplaced throughout our stay. Overall, the theme of our feedback is simple: the hotel needs to focus on the basics. The staff are exceptional and are undoubtedly the reason we continue to return. They are the hotel’s greatest asset. We will definitely be back, but we hope management invests."

"Very clean and simple rooms. Helpful staff. Wide variety at breakfast. Nice views from some rooms out to the mountains/hills. If staying again I would request a room away from the main pool as the music can be loud during the day and up until around 11pm. This can be heard in the rooms very easily. But goes quiet from 11pm so not really an issue unless you want to be in the room during the day."

"We have had an amazing 4 nights here. The hotel, the staff, the service, food and drinks are all on point, we spent around €575 which is very acceptable for 2, we was not wanting for anything. Excellent breakfast options Both A La Carte restaurants were excellent Location is excellent with lots of bars and restaurants on your doorstep. Highly recommend OKI (Asian, 2 mins walk) Only thing to advise is getting a sunbed can prove a challenge unless you pay to reserve and as we are late risers by the time we were going for breakfast most sunbeds were taken by both of the pools."

"Really lovely hotel in the quiet town of Emponas. Brilliant mountain views in all directions, perfect for anyone who loves nature or wants to watch the sunset. Food was absolutely excellent! "Location was pretty good. Bus stop right outside helpful. Food generally good but could do with being hotter. À la carte restaurant was better. Maids need to clean rooms better, floors didn’t appear to be cleaned ! Water needs to be hotter too, tried showering at different times but made no difference ! Although all inclusive, mini bar limited (no wine) and only replenished every other day. Also bizarrely you had to pay extra for a bottle of water ! All spirits/wine were just local, premium brands extra."
