Heart of the Sunrise is a spacious, private, oceanside, saltbox home among the trees with three decks near the Point in Emerald Isle. 3-minute nature walk to the beach on a private path from the neighborhood.
Open floor plan on the top floor with a half bath, kitchen with two eat-in islands, dining and living room. Lots of natural light with ceiling to floor windows and an upper deck to take in the tree tops. Kitchen has pots and pans (including a crock pot), two coffee makers (including a Keurig), plates, cups, eating utensils all provided and a dishwasher for convenient clean-up.
On the middle floor - three bedrooms (queen; queen; full and twin), a bonus room (full), and two spacious full bathrooms with two sinks each. The en-suite bathroom has a shower and a jetted tub for soaking and relaxation. Two decks - one in the front and one in the back off the main bedroom. The main bedroom closet has an ironing board and iron for your convenience. Floor to ceiling windows in the bonus room let you observe our local wildlife - deer, turtles, birds. A box fan is also available. Three of the rooms have TVs.
The ground floor has a laundry room with provided laundry detergent and dryer sheets, garage-turned-game-room with a ping pong table and darts, cornhole, bikes and helmets for your use, balls for soccer and volleyball, boogie boards and sand toys for your use, and an outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach. Firepit in the side yard, a tree swing in the back, and almost half an acre of wooded property to explore around the home. We challenge you to find and visit our fairy houses with windows that glow in the dark!
Note: Our house rules include no loud parties, no pets, and no smoking inside the home. Please treat our home like your own and better.

Great stay!

The house was very clean and was stocked with all the amenities you could need. The walking trail to the beach worked perfectly and provides shade if you’re hauling a lot of stuff. Biljana was amazing to deal with and I would definitely consider booking this place again!

What a great spot! Easy walk to the beach, close to everything and tucked away to give a secluded retreat feel! Owners super responsive and hospitality was top notch! Recommend this house for sure and we will be staying here again!

Beautiful and Peaceful

The check in process was super smooth and we even were able to check in early! The house was very clean. Having a beautiful path for a short walk to the beach was AMAZING. Biljana checked in on us through text when we got there which was very sweet. House is beautifully located and well kept. Definitely would stay again.

My family of 6 stayed for 6 days and would certainly recommend this place to anyone, with kids or not. The Perfect First Visit to Emerald Isle

We ventured to Emerald Isle with another family and was impressed with the vacation home. The home was clean, spacious, comfortable, and accommodating. The host communicated with us prior to arriving and that gave us comfort with asking questions about our stay and protocol. We adored the shady walk to the beach and found it to be easy & quick for 4-6 year olds. We would recommend this home and host without hesitation and hope that we can return annually.

Spring break

This house and location were great! The owners check on us and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. They were so pleasant and communication was quick! We found the property to be clean and very comfortable- a true home away from home. We loved the quiet and seclusion. Plenty of things to do, but the beaches were the best! We could have easily stayed for another week. Thanks for an amazing trip!!

Can’t beat the location or house set up!

A fantastic location! Awesome amenities at the house. Loved the split level set up — game room on first, bedrooms on second, kitchen/living on third. Porches galore! We especially enjoyed them in the evenings and mornings. Beach was an easy/short walk for all ages (3 to 70). So many toys, chairs, bike offerings at the house too. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely wonderful

We had a fabulous time! The house was beautiful and so spacious. Everything we needed was supplied. There was a cabinet of board games and a game room downstairs. The kitchen was fully stocked with supplies and appliances that made it easy to cook and serve food. The host was communicative even before we checked in. It was a dream vacation!

Wonderful private home

We stayed for a family weekend wedding. Biljana was wonderful to work with, it was a plus for us being in the same neighborhood as my parents home. This home is very spacious and private with all the trees. Everyone was comfortable with sleeping. Master shower is great!!! Highly recommend this property. Lots of space in the well equipped kitchen. Loved the wine refrigerator to keep your drinks cold.

Great place to stay for parties around 6-8!

While this property isn't right on the water, there's a great little walkway directly to the beach access. We happened to stay while a cyclone ripped through the area, so keep in mind that this walkway can get flooded during the rainy season. Even so, it's easy enough to just take the road around the block. We loved having the ping pong area in the basement, and having the house pre-stocked with necessities was a major plus. There were some bikes on the property that worked great, and we even took the corn hole to the beach. Last, David and Biljana are amazing and responsive, I highly recommend the place!

Unprofessionalism With Property Manager

The place itself was lovely, in a great location and there were ample activities at the house to use, although half the bikes were barely holding together. The positives end there. Apparently one of our friends broke a patio seat. I apologized and told her to run it through the insurance. This did not stop them from sending multiple texts lecturing us about it. I thought that was the end of it, a lecture from someone that isn’t my mother, but no. A month after my stay I receive a text asking to mail back a Roku remote we “stole”. I don’t know why she would think we stole a cheap remote from her place, maybe because we are young 20 somethings that supposedly broke a chair, that insurance covered. This text a month later was completely unprofessional and completely uncalled for, because story didn’t even ask if we had it, they just assumed, telling us to mail it back. I would recommend this place if you are staying with a family maybe, but staying with friends and being treated like a child is not okay in any respect. We paid a pretty penny for the place, and bought insurance for the off-chance something did happen, and it covered the patio chairs. I do not need to be inappropriately lectured for the chair nor the remote we didn’t steal. In short, I would not stay here again because the professionalism was not there.

What a great spot! We planned a really last minute stay and our first at the point. It did not disappoint. The home was great. Had lots of built in activities even with rain all day! The quick access was much better than the long walk we didn’t first day. Home owners and hosts were great. We would 100% stay again.!
