"We had a nice two night stay in the hotel. The room was big enough for our stay with comfortable bed. We loved the outdoor pool and the roof bar. We could rent bikes for a day to explore the area and cycle along Danube river. The breakfast was amazing with great selection. Reception staff was very helpful. The only negative is that the outside parking doesn’t have enough spaces for such big hotel, there is a big underground carpark for €16 a day which we thought it’s quite a lot and we thought should be free for hotel customers. Otherwise the hotel is great and was perfect for what we needed. "

"If you need to stay in St Polten, stay here! New hotel, 10 minutes from the station through the park - an excellent property with superb rooms, my only disappointment was I only stayed one night! Reception very helpful and their recommendation for eating and drinking was spot on."

"The hotel is very well located for accessing the city center. There is a beautiful park nearby. Motorcycle parking is available in the hotel garden, which is closed overnight. The staff were very friendly and offered a full breakfast with eggs upon request."

So for sure you will find someting new each time when you'll attend. The food quality is very good, starting from breakfast to dinner. Room impecably clean, everything very well maintained. "If you’re planning to visit Melk Abbey, be aware that Hotel Donauhof is not within walking distance—you’ll need to take a taxi, which costs about €16 each way. Alternatively, there's a bus that runs only once per hour. The hotel provides no in-room amenities—not even, tea or bottled water—and there is no air conditioning, which can be uncomfortable in the warmer months after June. There are no activity area around the hotel, with no restaurants nearby except the hotel’s own. During our stay, the elevator was out of order, and we had to carry our suitcases up the stairs. If you're visiting Melk Abbey, I would recommend staying in Melk itself. You'll find similar or lower prices, access to a charming small town, and several dining options within walking distance. "
