"The Howland House was situated in the most perfect spot in the Catskill Mountains! Very clean property, outstanding staff who never say no and go out of their way to help you.... The only thing I didn't care for, but not really a big deal, was that we had to share the 2 bathrooms down the hall with two other rooms. While the bathrooms were nice, they just weren't in the room we were staying in due to being sold out of the rooms with. The restaurant, Oliver's, was quite lovely and attached to the house part of the property with the bar. Food was outstanding, being made with all seasonal vegetables and local proteins from farms in the area."

"This cabin is perfect. It's a beautiful location that is secluded but still has plenty around to do. There is a lot of wildlife, the bedding is wonderful and the internet was blazing fast. We will be back to enjoy again in the winter!"

"We had a great experience and enjoyed the hot tub and close walk into town. Battinas was a good recommendation, too. Visit the Anglers Parlor at the library for some good exhibits and local history."

"The house was great. My only complaint is that the water was not hot in the shower. The water was burning hot in the tops in the bathroom and the kitchen, but the shower didn’t really get hotter than warm which made it unpleasant. My son complained that the upstairs bedroom was dusty."
