"THI IS NOT A HOTEL! The manager running the place was kind enough to admit. I believe this is a working winery that rents some rooms. I will start with the Good. The area is beautiful We manager recommended a GREAT stake restaurant call ADRIANO 731943. "We needed a place to stay in or near Vinci for the night before our 3 week stay in a nearby villa began. Il Piastrino looked lovely and was VERY well priced. And it was exceptionally nice—from the spacious, charming rooms (surprise—we had a kitchen), the delicious breakfast, to the warm and welcoming staff. We arrived very late toward the end of a busy pris fixe am fresco dinner service but we were settled in and set at ease. And yes, we returned a few days later for the al fresco dining. Wow....

"Beautiful Villa property in Tuscany divided into apartments. This is a working winery. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Our host Ilaria was very pleasant and helpful. The views were spectacular. We had a gorgeous sunset from our window. It was peaceful and quiet. I could have stayed here a long time. Very convenient to drive to Empoli (15 min) and take the train to Florence. I would love to stay here again"

"We change appartment to Primavera Fattoria in the other end of Varna. It was a great appartment and area. Can recomend it. If you are more than one family to stay this house is great. Many appartmants in the same house. It is rural so no traffic and the poolarea is surraounded by a fence."

"My mum and I did a girls trip here and we LOVED our stay! Just the kind of quite wind-down that we needed after the hustle and bustle of Venice and Florence. This hotel is GORGEOUS!! The food at the restraurant was superb and the pool divine on the hot Tuscan days! Easy to get to and a quick 30mins from Florence made it a wonderful choice. We both can't wait to be back!! "This was a relaxing 7 day stay in the Tuscan countryside after touring Venice, Verona, Lake Como, Milan, and Cinque Terre. Since it was mid-October our party of 4 (in 2 apartments) had the place to ourselves. Our host Ilaria was most gracious and helpful in giving suggestions re restaurants, markets to visit, train rides. "Sehr schön eingerichtete Ferienwohnung in einem burgähnlichen Komplex mit 2 Schlafzimmer und einem großen Raum komplett ausgestattet fürs Wohnen, Essen und Kochen. Vom großen Raum aus hat man die Gelegenheit um draußen zu sitzen und direkt an den Pool zu gehen. Mit unseren 2 Jungs war es ein perfekter Urlaub, wir haben viel Zeit am Pool verbracht, Ausflüge gemacht in der Umgebung (Todi ist sehr schön) und bis nach Rom. Wir kommen gerne wieder"

"Perfect location for a home base and day trips to Florence, San Gimignano (our favorite), Cinque Terre, and Siena. The local area is fantastic and we plan to come back and just stay locally. Restaurants were easy to get to and perfecto! The apartment is beautiful with great view of the vineyard and a steady breeze the whole time. Would highly recommend!"

"Nous avions loué pour 6 nuits nous sommes partis au bout de 3 . Le ménage n était pas fait, les sanitaires ignobles( la lunette des toilettes cassée )et après on ose demander plus de 50 euros pour le ménage. Pas de chauffage( des pieces à une température de 14°C)a part dans un seul logement déjà occupé. Quand nous avons demandé du chauffage on nous a apporté un petit chauffage d appoint. Toujours mécontent car il faisait toujours aussi froid la propriétaire nous a dit de trouver un autre...

"Well where do I start. There were no sheets on the beds, and we had to sweep the floors as it was quite dirty. There is NO HEAT in the building. It was freezing. We had to make our own beds as the owner dug sheets out of a storage room. The towels they gave us were the size of kitchen hand towels. There is also no internet. He told us we could drive to town and use a local cafe for wifi. We left to find another place to stay after the first night. In the morning we turned on the stove to heat...

"The property exceeded our expectations. The villa was clean, well prepped and we did not encounter issues. The scenery was better than in the photos and the guides given to us by the host led us to some delicious meals. We spent a great deal of time sitting outside. The amenities in the house made everything easy. Beds were clean and comfortable. Highly recommend."
