"We were greeted by our host who had kindly allowed us to deposit our luggage ahead of moving into the cottage. The cottage itself is cosy and well appointed with an Aga stove in the kitchen that keeps the cottage warm. It has a small but well kept garden with table and chairs for outside dining if desired. Also parking for two cars. We took some wonderful trips in the area where many of the villages have thatched cottages. There is a post office and village shop close by and local pubs within...

"The cottage was lovely. Spotlessly clean and in such a lovely village. Having the community shop and café on site is such a treat. The host is very nice. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the water pressure of the shower was excellent. We would absolutely stay here again. "

"Overall this is a great property. Very secluded but near to main roads and easy access to amenities. There are however a few things that would have made a vast improvement to the property considering the cost to rent. The sitting room could do with more and better seating. Considering this is for 4 people, 2 small sofas is not sufficient for evening comfort especially considering the dining area can accommodate 8 people. Smaller things like there are no toilet roll holders. Also the bathroom...
