"The room was small but very clean. We had four towels, one bed, and one chair. We, both, couldn't sit down. We wanted to get a drink at the bar but it was closed for a private party. As guests, we were perturbed cause we didn't know the area. Ordered a bottle of wine that was listed at $32 but they wanted to charge us $72. We left and was forced to find another place off the premises."

"The hotel seems to be under construction and not up to snuff. There were strange smells immediately in the lobby. The pool was out of order and this was a big disappointment. The sheets were wrinkled as if someone had just used them or they had sat in a wrinkled pile. There was a rip in the curtains. The bathtub drain did not close to seal the tub so I could not take a bath. It was dirty all around the drain. The shower head had pink gunk on it. The lock on the door was broken. After all of that disappointment, the breakfast in the morning was great: scrambled eggs, waffles, good juice, muffins, yogurt. The breakfast area was clean and so well tended."

"I should have followed my instincts the very second we pulled in. The outside was filthy, weeds we’re growing knee high. The roof had a tarp covering an area and it looked like a new roof is very much needed. The lobby was clean somewhat presentable however walking into our room the stench of mildew and mold was unbearable! We had no other choice so we stayed. We packed up and showered at our sons hotel the next day. I highly highly recommend AmericInn take a deep dive into this property for your name sake at least! We will never book online again."
