The couch in the family room is really comfortable to unwind on. Bedrooms all have their own TVs as well. The communication was amazing with the owner. They were incredibly responsive! "There was room enough for everyone. I like the recording ring doorbell. I like bathroom connect to bedroom. I didn’t like the wide open vent in the floor leading to bathroom. The bathroom door is on backwards. The coffee pot was molded. There were plenty of towels and washcloths. The bed is too close to the wall. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. I probably would stay there again but the price was high for the condition of the house. This house needs a lot of maintenance."

"This was the perfect place for our family of 6 to spend a long baseball weekend. We were close to the ball fields my grandson was playing on. Lockport is a cute little town. We felt safe in this location. We commuted about 45 min to downtown Chicago to visit several tourist attractions. The house has a full kitchen, nice dining room and living room. Everything in the house was clean and in good shape. We definitely will be staying here again for future tournaments or Chicago visits!"

"Big things: - THIS IS NOT A TWO BATH HOUSE. There is one full bathroom and a powder room. The listing is wrong, there is no second shower and we would never have booked for our party of 6 knowing this, so now you know too. - The cleaning standards are subpar, DO NOT STAY WITH YOUNG CHILDREN. So many examples I could list but, sticking with big things, the worst was the floors were so dirty everyone's feet/socks turned black and we found a plate of moldy hamburgers in the microwave. "Lovely little cottage in great location with excellent restaurants close by. Had everything we needed for our stay. Kitchen was perfectly equipped and having the washer dryer was such a bonus. The communication with the landlord was very good. Would absolutely stay here again. "

"Our family of 4 plus dog had a great stay. Easy drive into Chicago. The neighborhood is very quiet and the fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. Interior of the house is nicely done with newer appliances and 4 bedrooms with queen beds in each room. Would stay there again. The grill was missing a propane tank but that was minor and Host offered to bring one for us."
