"The Belvedere is an older hotel that exudes quaint Italian charm. This hotel is located right on Lake Como so the view from the restaurant is beautiful. You can see the villages of Lenno, Bellagio, Nesso and others along the shoreline. The location is fantastic - literally just up the street from the ferry terminal - a walk of only 3-5 minutes. "Stunning location & comfortable rooms. Tip: it is better if you have your own car but there is a bus stop just outside the door. Friendly staff but disappointing there was no water or tea & coffee facilities in the rooms. Also our air conditioner wasn’t working for the first 48 hours which, during a hot spell, made one room uncomfortable."
