"Finding the place is a challenge as Brühl is largely pedestrianised but it’s in a lovely tucked away corner of the main drag and parking (an additional extra) is just along the next street, fenced and seemingly secure. The manager/ proprietor was very welcoming and was at the time working the restaurant, an apparent jewel in the crown of the town. We had breakfast here which was a top dining experience, plentiful and served by a lovely gentleman. The kids were not so keen on the general...

"Nach langer Anreise war die erste Hürde die Parkplätze des Hotels zu finden, diese waren sehr schlecht Aus-/ Beschildert. Die Anreise in der Nacht machte das Ganze nicht leichter. Hotel machte einen sehr neuwertigen und gepflegten Eindruck, welcher schnell getrübt wurde da wir beim einräumen des Gepäckes in den Schrank, von Silberfischen überrascht wurden. Das Zimmer ist für zwei Personen ausgelegt, das Bett ist allerdings nur 1,40cm breit! Zu allem Überfluss war die Matratze dann auch noch...

"The condition of the property in general was below average, signs of previous damage to doors and locks, WC cistern hanging sideways but still working and my mattress sagged in the middle, though the Manager was very friendly and helpful."
