"The location, staff, and amenities of the Hotel Albatroz made our six-day stay in Portugal all the more pleasurable. Cascais is a wonderful seaside resort, once summer home to a wealthy international clientele and exiled nobility. The core of the Albatroz occupies a grand old mansion on the beach with spectacular ocean views, elegant and comfortable appointments. There is a fine restaurant and cozy bar with wonderful vistas. The staff are friendly, solicitous, and helpful. Access to the Lisbon area train network is a short walk and there are countless shops, eateries, and interesting local sites within easy walking distance. We would gladly stay at this fine hotel again!"

"I am so sad to have left! This was a 5 star experience from check-in to check-out. The staff were phenomenal and super friendly with amazing recommendations, the food was great, pool and rooftop views were spectacular. Easy walking distance to the beach but it is a bit further from the center of Cascais. We typically walked one way and Ubered back as Uber were very easy to find. Only downside is there seemed to be many events at the pool so no pool or dinner service those afternoons. Some days I planned to be at the pool this was not possible given the events taking place. "
