"We had a really lovely stay at the finca. It is in a beautiful and peaceful location up in the hills, which is what we were looking for. It is not in the main tourist area which we appreciated and the local town was very nice. Its not the sunniest spot as is north facing and in the shadow of Mt Teide in the winter time, so sunshine hours were limited, but we were happy to drive to get to more sunny places in the day time. Antonio was an excellent host, providing lots of useful information and...

"Enjoyed being here so much , already booked for next year , Susana is a wonderful host , always there if you need anything It is a magical place set in a avocado orchard , birds , butterflies , Lizards ( they don’t bother you ) Every home comfort is catered for , books, games , super fast internet , sun beds , spare sheets you name it it is there Rob & Angie Perry Aylesbury , UK"

"A little more isolated than expected. Needed some form of heating as the weather turned wet and cold for our last couple of days. Pool and gardens were lovely."

"More like a hostel. (I am an advanced driver). Be warned about the 35 minute drive up the mountain. The property wifi is flaky. The room smelled of feet. Shower and kitchen tap cold. Toaster broken. Other issues. Abad experience with the agent also. They are extremely unpleasant to deal with."

"The Finca Delicias are a small group of converted farm buildings located in a banana plantation near the beach and rock swimming pools of Alcala. The house was well presented, creatively furnished, and well equipped with generous amounts of space indoors and out. Incredible views of the ocean with the sun setting behind La Gomera each evening. The overall sense of tranquility and privacy was a welcome change from Costa Adeje."

"The property was perfect in every way. Unfortunately the satnav couldn't find the house. We phoned the owner who didn't speak English and I don't speak Spanish. We found a taxi rank and asked them to take us and we would follow and pay them. He couldn't find it either, so he spoke to the owner who came and met us and we followed him. He was very helpful - considering it was now midnight!! Other than this everything else was great. A very steep climb down to the town."

"La casita est magnifique et très bien placée pour visiter toute la partie nord de l'ile. On accède aussi rapidement à la route qui mène au Téide. La terrasse est grande et joliment aménagée, avec une vue imprenable sur la côte. Quant à l'accueil, rien à redire. Nous sommes arrivés tard le soir et Ingrid nous attendait pour nous guider."

"stilvoll zurecht gemachtes Bauerhaus; alle Zimmer von einem zentralen Innenhof zugänglich, dazu mehrere Terassen - ideal für herrliche Abende; o.k. das Wetter war auch entsprechend! Für den Tag braucht es allerdings ein Auto und einen mutigen Fahrer! Super Kurzurlaub vor dem feucht-kalten heimischen Winter!!!"

"We spent 2 great weeks in the banana plantation. It was peaceful, far away from the tourism chaos on the island. Its a perfect place to rest. Christa"

"Host is very helpful and supportive. The cottage has a great interior design with an antique touch and interesting wallphotos showing the area. Exterior is super. With a barbeque area with a n outdoor kitchenette .The area itself is close to the town and the three city of Porto de la Cruz is close. Only problem was that our GPS always showed the worst way to get to the south side.. .We enjoyed our stay."

"Wir waren für zwei Wochen im Haus. Absolute Ruhe, nur Vogelgesang und gelegentlich Hunde. Wunderbarer Blick auf die Berge und Gomera. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und die Küche war zweckmäßig eingetichtet. Wandergebiete vor der Haustür ohne Massentourismus. Masca sollte man vermeiden. Wir kommen wieder"

"Séjour en février 2025. Le site est très calme à 700 m d'altitude et 10 minutes du centre d'Icod, très joli. Sentier de randonnée au pied de la maison. Nous avons adoré les petits-déjeuners au soleil sur une terrasse atypique avec une vue superbe : la mer au nord et le Teide (encore légèrement enneigé) au sud. Maison vraiment typique et très belle.Cependant, l'annonce est incomplète et voici ce que nous aurions aimé savoir avant d'arriver :- la cloison séparant les deux chambres ne va pas...
