"One of the most amazing places I’ve stayed and the perfect setting for our group. Manuel and his family were super helpful whenever we needed Theo assistance on the property. Communication was excellent during and leading up to our stay. I would absolutely stay here again. The roads to get there were a bit tricky, so make sure you have clear directions, especially if you’re arriving at night. For us, this was all just part of an epic adventure! Only good things to say about this place."

"Casa El Faro was quite comfortable and well maintained spacious 2 bedroom+ home with great view of the town and bay below. The overall complex (formerly called Pelican Eyes) has suffered over the years, but rumor is it is soon to be reinvigorated with new ownership. Once the toast of the town this has the potential to return to that level. Walkable to town (albeit with a few stairs that could use a bit of TLC to reduce the slipping hazard - mostly due to rainy season so not likely a concern...

"This was our second time staying at casa tranquila! We absolutely love the house, the neighborhood, the views of the ocean and the jungle, all the monkeys in the trees, down to the guys watching the gate to enter balcones de majagual!!! Joel and Laura are always super fast at responding and making sure you are taken care of...... Gabriela at the Remax office is super helpful with lining up shuttles and SUV rental! We will be back! "This property is absolutely gorgeous. It’s expertly designed with all 4 en suite bedrooms on opposite corners of the house which is what sold us on the booking on a friends birthday trip. Felicita kept the house clean and tidy and helped wherever she could. The location allowed for a ton of privacy, definitely recommend renting a 4WD vehicle to get in and out of town or to the beach. It’s not walkable. We had several water issues while we were there and would have preferred to know up front...
