"My sister and I spent just a couple of nights here and truly fell in love with the house and staff. Every interaction was easy and kind, the house was incredibly well kept, and the grounds were gorgeous. It's located a bit out of the way which is perfect for minimizing crowds and noise! Our room was perfectly sized and the bed/bedding comfortable. All in all, a 10/10. Highly recommend to anyone in any stage of life."

"Beautiful old hotel with amazing grounds & easy walk to the lake. The room was spacious for 3 adults & we were very well looked after. Only downside was mh husband not having his favourite bourbon & no tawny port for me!! Thats being picky!! "

"Pleasant stay here for a few nights. Inn owner was lovely and the location was ideal for walks and visiting nearby towns. However, the mattress in the comfort room was very uncomfortable and unfortunately did disturb our sleep. The tv was also located in an awkward position in the room so we ended up dragging furniture to get it more central. On the other hand, the room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was ok but not much variation. "
