"Hotel is equal distance between two metro stations. There are a number of grocery stores and restaurants in the area. No AC, fan or kettle in the room. One bathroom light was out the entire trip (i was there for a week), and i was promised that it would be fixed, didn't happen.. Elevator is claustrophobic and was avoided except on arrival and departure when I had my luggage. Big signs on the outside of hotel offering rooms for 45 Euros, not certain of the details of that offer. Wifi was good.....

"Kambal B&B was excellent is all areas; location, near by services, easy access to subway, safe and busy area for walking. Restaurants, deli’s shopping all near by. Our Host Albert was excellent; he welcomed us, provided snack upon arrival, simple breakfast each day, and packed breakfast on our early departure day. Room was perfect, clean, bed was comfortable and a street side 2nd floor room- we love to hear the city. We would absolutely stay here again when in Rome. "

"Despite my cousin and I, who did not speak a lick of Italian at the time we checked in, the staff was very friendly, patient, and helpful. We stayed for a week, and we always returned to the room in spotless condition. The location was very close to all the major historical sites we wanted to visit, but far enough away to be quiet. There were times it got fairly noisy outside, especially with the window open, but never unbearably so. The dog was very cute!"

"The staff was amazing at the hotel. Super helpful and informative. The room was good and clean. The building was also very secure. I’m a more used to 24 hour front desk staff because where I am from. So if you’re going to check in late just make sure to let them know in advance and they will give you the information for the entry. My husband and I were very happy with our stay. "

"Best hotel service I’ve ever had. They were so nice always making suggestions (if we wanted them), calling cars to and from airport for us, you could chat with them, they were all very friendly. We went to Amalfi for a few days and came back and they let us leave a couple bags so we didn’t have to drag them to and from Amalfi. They were in our new room when we arrived! Best service ever!"

"The staff were pleasant and friendly. The location is near the train station, small shops, and restaurants. One bathroom was tiny, making it difficult to use the toilet. Other rooms provide better-sized bathrooms. The air conditioner was very nice. Many locks are involved, so security was less of a concern for this location. Peddlers can be aggressive at nearby restaurants. Just ignore them, and they'll go away. "
