  • Custom log mountain home featured in HG Magazine winter tour. Hard to find 4 bedroom 3 1/2 bathroom including 3 full ensuites; over 500 sq ft of wrap around decking, outdoor dining area in the woods; fireplace, private hot tub under the stars and 2 car garage. 1+ acre wooded setting with spectacular mountain views; authentic log home with modern amenities, open floor plan; great gathering and cooking space. Enjoy hiking in the RMNP, great shopping and restaurants, Mary's Lake, Lake Estes, golfing, walk to the playground; bike into town; or cook a great meal, enjoy all that our private home has to offer and simply do nothing at all!

    Early check-in fee: $50 per hour. No pets. No weddings or wedding related formal events. Ring camera surveillance on garage door and upper level double entrance doors. 4WD or AWD required for winter stays.

    The booking calendar extends out 12 months. If you wish to book a reservation beyond 12 months out, please send a message with your desired dates.

Property was really nice. The views from the house are pretty nice. Could be better but trees would have to be cut down. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was stocked very well with pots, pans, utensils, etc. pretty good amount of spices, seasonings. Overall everyone really enjoyed the house.

Mountain beauty

This home is wonderful. Beautiful views, well stocked with a full kitchen, pots, pans, dishes etc. It was in a very convenient spot for our activities in the Estes Park area. Our family stayed at this rental for our son’s wedding in Estes and it just added to the memorable weekend. I would definitely stay here again if we are in the area again.

Lovely cabin in the mountains!

We stayed here for a low-key bachelorette party trip and it couldn't have gone better! We went to RMNP to see the Elk Rut in action and enjoyed a nice dinner in town. Plenty of room for all of us in the house. We enjoyed the quiet, the rustic space and especially loved the decor!

We enjoyed staying it this home during our vacation in Estes. The house was very roomy and was perfect for our large group. The house was close to town but far enough to avoid traffic noise. There are great views from the large deck. I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful Home and Vacation

Heidi’s home is absolutely beautiful!! It had easy access from the main roads and we were close to town. Our family enjoyed the open floor plan, amenities, and items provided during our stay. The communication prior to our stay was incredible and clear, so we felt at ease when we finally arrived. We loved having access to an easy washer a dryer, along with numerous kitchen appliances, dishes, and linens. Heidi made everything easy so we could enjoy our time as a family with our little ones. The house was very easy to navigate and we were close to all our favorite hiking destinations.

Ample room. Very comfortable. Beautiful house. The only thing we all noticed was lighting could be better. House was a little dark inside. Beautiful views of the mountains. Host very responsive. We contacted her about snow plowing and she had someone out within an hour. We had about 7 inches of fresh snow the morning after we arrived.

Everything was great. The only small thing that should be addressed are, there are a couple receptacles in the front room that need to be replaced, they don’t keep a cord connected, it just falls out of the receptacle. There were a lot of dead flys and spiders that were all around the floors that I vacuumed up and the lower bathroom handle was broken, kinda had to flush it by opening the top of the commode. Overall, it was a beautiful and very accommodating residence. Thanks for the hospitality, the host was great and super friendly.
