"The Savoy Palace was absolutely amazing in every way - from the decor, cleanliness, style, ambiance, the grounds, the customer service to the food! Every single employee that we encountered showed such professionalism, warmth, and kindness. The front desk made sure we had everything we needed, made excellent dining recommendations and answered every question we had. We had our 6-year-old with us and as soon as she stepped into the Kids Club/playroom she wanted to come back every day. Not only was the playroom beautiful, it was also clean. Anna & Beatriz from the kids’ playroom were so nurturing, kind and were the reason our daughter wanted to come back every day. They were amazing! We LOVED everything about the Savoy Palace and truly elevated our Madeira stay! We didn’t want to leave!"

"We had a truly wonderful stay here. On the days we weren't out for a hike, we loved making the most of the outdoor pool, and the sauna was really pleasant too. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a brilliant selection, and the rooftop bar offers cracking views in the evening. Honestly, though, the staff were the real highlight—everyone at reception was super helpful and went the extra mile to look after us. Management should be chuffed to bits with the team. Would definitely recommend."

"The small gym was empty both times I went, which was great for me. I never saw anyone swimming in the gorgeous pool, possibly because it’s not very hot this time of year. Staff at reception very helpful. Located extremely close to restaurants and shops. Only thing I didn’t like was breakfast. They have 2 coffee machines that maybe fancy drinks which were great, but the food selection wasn’t appetizing. It was on par with a normal hotel continental breakfast."

Walkable into old town, with supermarket, and good bars and restaurants in local vicinity."
