"Lobby is nice, friendly and very helpful staff. The area is quiet and a few miles from the old town area and we actually love it versus the busy old town. Room is in a small size, most European hotels are smaller than US. We would love to come back again."

"Beautiful small and friendly boutique hotel which is ideally located albeit at the top of a very steep hill. I wouldn't recommend for anyone with mobility issues unless you plan to drive or taxi everywhere! Lovely clean and fresh room with coffee maker and plenty complimentary pods. Breakfast is not included and at 25euro you may want to try one of the many local cafes instead. There's also a restaurant which I didn't personally try but got rave reviews from my fellow guests. Theres a cute bar which is pricey compared to local bars (glass white wine 16 euros) which compares to upper end Edinburgh hotels but lovely setting with roof terrace offering city views. I really enjoyed my stay, would definitely recommend."

"We stayed on the top floor under the roof. The room had air conditioning, but unfortunately, the bathroom did not. The showerhead was also installed quite low, making it uncomfortable for my husband, who is 6’1”, to shower. One unique feature was the old-fashioned, heavy room key. Be sure not to lose it, as the hotel charges €300 for a replacement! Overall, these are a few things worth noting for future guests, and improving the bathroom comfort would make the stay more enjoyable."
